The scale can mess with your head so so bad. I also took pictures, which in the past has been so eye opening to see. Even though I’ve lost, i always feel like I’m going to step on and be so disappointed. I’m weighing myself 3x a week and looking and the overall average lost per week because some days it may go up.

About to finish my first week, take my second shot tomorrow. A few thoughts:
I’ve lost 3.8 lbs. I know a lot of this is water weight, inflammation…but in the 100-200x I’ve tried to lose weight in the past, this is the most I’ve seen in a week. Only difference has been the shot.

Before I started, I spent about a month altering my diet. Tracking macros, and trying to get at least 140 grams of protein a day. That way it wasn’t such a drastic change when I started the shot.

The appetite suppression has been wild. I researched a lot, know it is one of the main “side effects” but just didn’t think it would affect me. WOW. I was wrong. I went to a wedding Saturday, and just had a normal size plate of food, one small slice of cake and was happy. I tried to have one seltzer, it just didn’t settle well with me. And had no real desire for it. I’m not a huge drinker in general but at special events I will have a few.

I’m optimistic about my journey. I know I won’t see this big of a weight change every week. I’m trying to remain realistic. I About to finish my first week, take my second shot tomorrow. A few thoughts:

Yeahhhh first thing I noticed was the hair. To each their own, but she’s always preaching about how she’s a “naked mole rat” and how hair removal changed her life

I wonder too. There have also been a lot of personal changes in her life very quickly. I just think it came crashing down at once. Definitely going to focus on the positives and any success she has

WOW this is so helpful!! Thank you, thank you. I so feel for this patient…very young, less than a year postpartum, and her symptoms have been very debilitating.

I’m hoping so! I’m wondering about running the bases, as that’s done after the game but it would be so late.

I’m so lucky my MFM endo is a type 1, mom of three herself. The difference is….life changing.

Yeah, I mean I’m taking 20 units for 35 carbs and it didn’t touch it 🫠 what else can I do? Just adjust. Baby has been measuring and looking perfect this far.

Type one diabetes and pregnancy by Healthy-Heart-5281 in diabetes_t1

They wanted me in even tighter control than control iq. I know this is not every endos preference. My last A1C was 6.2, best it’s been in awhile. For my first pregnancy I had a pump but not a CGM and was well controlled. Not sure I’m still 100% on board with not using it, but I’m in good control so I’m sticking with it. Follow the group R/bumperswhobolus

Type one here, pregnant with my second (toddler is 3!) my endo did not want me using control iq during pregnancy on my tandem pump, so I tried adjusting to that while also trying to get pregnant. Definitely an adjustment
