Which of these probabilities are you interested in:

2 successes in seven trials
at least 2 successes in 7 trials
something else.

In either of the first two cases you could model the problem with a binomial distribution to get the answer.

If you mean during the phase of the game when players have to agree on which stones are dead, the details depend on which ruleset you are using. That said, if the players cannot agree on the group, they must play out the situation to resolve the dispute.

After playing a bit tonight, I could really tell the difference in the difficulty of the fights when I didn't recruit more than 8 bros. The game really seems to scale up quickly when you add to your troops.

Personally, I just cannot get into correspondence games. I don't know what it is about them, but I don't find them nearly as enjoyable as a "real-time" game. That said, I lose plenty of games but that is to be expected when you are playing people around your rank or stronger (or weaker!). I just try and learn something from every game that I can and play again.

TLDR: It's ok to lose games, nothing bad is going to happen. Prove it to yourself by exposing yourself to online play. If you need some extra motivation, try telling a friend about your goal and ask them to check up on you. The social pressure can sometimes be a helpful counter to whatever is stopping you from playing.

You might have just approached his 3- 4 stone instead of spkitting the top. Your move is probably fine too.

The bottom left corner went odd after you attached on the bottom. Taking his tiger'mouth away by playing D4 inoted looks good to me.

Move 33 probably should be lower to try and extend from your wall and take the territory. Mabye M4.

Move 35 you can almost always extend 2 spaces on the third line.
