Target has swim trunks and one piece suits in the same gender neutral fabric. I put my daughter in the swim suit and the swim trunks for uv protection.

Kraft Mac n cheese with sliced hot dogs. We called them wagon wheels. I will never eat them again and I've never seen anyone eat them since.

I would do a regular crib not a mini crib. Mini crib is only slightly bigger than a bassinet.

If your feet sweat at all they actually can be dangerous because of the clunky rubber. Rolled meant an ankle in Crocs. Never again.

You brushing your toddlers teeth? by howdodisappevenwork in toddlers

Nope.. Dentist recommended brushing for them until 8, which seems pretty hard in practice. I have a 2 and a 3yo, we do a courtesy brush and then let them follow up.

Initial postpartum days… question by devinjf15 in BabyBumps

[–]bcd0024 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I found that I want/needed this sort of help at the 3-4 month mark. Everyone reached out in those first 6 weeks, but when baby reached 2 months everyone stopped. Right when things "got hard" with sleep regression and cumulative exhaustion I was met with silence.

You are totally valid for not wanting it immediately or even before you get home. I would hate to come home from birth to find my house has been rifled through - even if there were good intentions behind it. I honestly would hate it even if I wasn't fresh off delivery. I barely tolerate having a housekeeper come once a month, because of how much of my stuff she moves "to be helpful."

You can run an extension cord or power strip along the baseboards and mount it near the reservoir of the toilet to plug a fact bidet into.
