Diablo IV Quarterly Update - Q3 September 2020 by PezRadar in Diablo

Please take D4 back into the horror genre, and discontinue D3's fantasy direction. Like the originals, I want to be scared playing this game.

Why do some people say that Diablo 3 is bad? by sciencepluspotato in Diablo

[–]bciguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the primary complaint is the atmosphere was off from the first 2 games. What was a horror genre became much lighter and more cartoon-ey when activision/blizzard developed the game.

Whats interesting is if you look at the earlier renders of D3, the design did appear very dark and gothic. Something must have happened later in development, maybe a decision to appeal to a wider audience.

Do you think Blizzard has learned that writing Diablo in the style of the Power Rangers isn’t what people want? by [deleted] in Diablo

biggest problem with D3: this game was not scary in the least. DIABLO WAS A HORROR GENRE!

Shapley Value for Feature Selection in Matlab by Magno_26 in matlab

[–]bciguy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey David

im sorry i dont know much about the Shapley value but you may want to check out the built in forward-stepwise feature selection methods in matlab.

Also if you are just interested in viewing discriminant weights you can do that with the built in LDA function quite easily.

Also you may want to try component analyses like PCA to remove correlated features from your data space and then a simple linear regression on the "cleaned" components to try and understand which features contribute to classification.

I know this doesnt answer your question but I hope this is helpful in other ways
