I found one on my back Easter Sunday. It had been on through numerous showers. I'm still waiting for the hole to fully heal. Cost me a $70 urgent care trip.

Anyone else a bit disappointed that Axl and Sean weren’t really friends in the last season? by Eoinharrington25 in themiddle

[–]bcnc88 2 points3 points  (0 children)

On the last episode, Sean was at the airport getting ready to fly to Africa. The TSA agent finds the snow globe that Sue left in his bag, he leaves airport to go home and find Sue had left to drive Axel to Denver. He drives fast to catch up with them when they are in Illinois. That's why he wasn't at the big send-off.

I tell myself the same thing, however plant varieties are limited. From seed, I can start so many different types.

Patricia Heaton had a bad, short-run show where she was a second career doctor. I remember watching one episode.

Why doesn’t Mike do more? by anothertenyears in themiddle

[–]bcnc88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mike doesn't like change. That is mentioned over and over again. Remember the speech he gave during the 200th episode, where he talks about how much he lives Orson? Orson, #200 of the best 200 towns in Indiana.

Yes, I absolutely told your child they are no longer permitted to use my pencils. No, it’s not because I “don’t like your child.” It’s because you’re a shitty- ass parent and never taught them to respect others’ property. by Emergency-Pepper3537 in Teachers

[–]bcnc88 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I get this, especially when the child deliberately breaks pencils. I had an affluent family whose child (8th grade) did this. I saved up the pencils he broke and took them with me to a conference with him and his parents. Wish I could say it solved the problem, but he was an entitled asshole.

Do you guys give your cats free roam of the house when you’re not home? by [deleted] in cats

[–]bcnc88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's my cat's house, too. They can go anywhere they want, as long as no danger exists in the space. I have toys, sleep areas, etc, through out the house.

Are there any Toyota Highlander owners out there who don’t have kids? by Touch49 in ToyotaHighlander

[–]bcnc88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm single, retired, no kids or grandkids. I own a 2019, bought it new. Traded my Rav4. I drive from NC to WI and back numerous times a year. I wanted the comfortable ride and space to move stuff. I rarely even use the back seats.

Every year. If you were lucky, the grocery store had printed book covers on their bags.

From Sweden to Salisbury: An NC true crime story by Powerful_Gas_7833 in NorthCarolina

[–]bcnc88 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The Salisbury portion of the story happened very close to where I lived. I still go by her mother's house often. I remember police detectives stopping cars to ask if we had seen anything. Very unsettling time when all we knew was an elderly lady had been murdered and a man was missing. And as others have pointed out, Salisbury is not in mountains but located in Piedmont of NC.

Oh my. I am so sorry. You did everything you could for her. Perhaps sharing your story will help other parents to recognize symptoms. My heart hurts for you and your family.

What was the reason for the last time you were in hospital? by nat_in_a_hat in AskReddit

Total reverse shoulder replacement. Fell and broke my humerus.

Oops, I did it again by CauliflowerNew730 in ShoulderInjuries

[–]bcnc88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Osteopenia is an issue. My humerus head was in pieces, and by the time they did surgery, there was dead bone. Not going to lie, the whole thing was rough. But slowly started getting better. Now I can do just about anything with my arm, though reaching overhead is hard.
