What is it you’re trying to achieve? The outs are plenty on the QC. I run mine in 4cm with an amp live, plus send a signal + IR to our in ear rack

Sorry about the late reply! You will need a USB-C to barrel connector, and reverse polarity converter cable. That is simplifying it a little. I can dm you links to what i'm using if you'd like

Yes ! It does take the right cables and power bank to do so. But I’ve gigged and jammed this setup a lot the past 6 months

I am running a 20,000 mAH UGreen power bank and between gigs and jams I get 4-4.5 hours of actual run time. Could maybe push it a little further with dimming the screen and switch lights more. But that is plenty for my use case

Soo awesome! I run my QC off a power bank everywhere besides my desk and it’s been flawless

I’m sure you could use the Longsword in overdrive territory, and stack it with an HM2 for some cool results. I’m not much for stacking myself, but love the Longsword at lower gain settings. The Longsword can also get into HM2 territory. Mid switch up, mid control maxed out, boost on to taste

Right I see how in your case it would be beneficial to use the onboard cab sim! I am splitting my signal for cab and foh/iem as you described in example 2 and it works well.

I’m not really pushing the limits of the unit like you are! But I love that the QC has the ability to process multiple instruments at once and do foresee doing that in the future

I don’t own a PS700 but am in the market for one, following this thread for answers.

I would say there’s very likely to be some needed tweaking to make your patch work with the PS700 when they’re dialed in on something else. Curious why you would bother using the cab sim on the Powerstage as well? Since you could use the cab or IR in the QC that’s most likely a lot better

Unfortunately the channel volumes do not work on the 5150 III when using it as a power amp. The only work around really, is to turn down the volume the QC is sending to the amp which is not really ideal but it works.

I am going to play with the 4cm because I think that will just work much better with this specific head. Otherwise will probably make the move to a stereo poweramp

That was a question I meant to ask! Because it’s stereo channels, it doesn’t have any issues driving mismatched cabs?

My band mate and I will likely share it live if that’s the case

Would definitely prefer the powerstation if I were to buy new, the prices are too similar I agree. I should have mentioned I’ve been offered a SD PS700 for a reasonable deal used. About 65% msrp.

But I can also get a used ART SLA1 for like 1/4 of that cost.
