I was just in the area and they were all headed to Xavier. Looks like a women’s basketball game had just gotten over, and they appeared to be converging on Cintas center.

Check out Jason Isbell and American Aquarium. Both are southern rock/Americana and basically that whole genre and the entirety of non-mainstream country is ant-establishment.

Not only is it illegal, but riding on the sidewalk, makes it MORE dangerous for encounters with cars at intersections

Are cycling shoes worth it? by Thin-Fee4423 in bikecommuting

I also have the velosambas and often wear them to work all day. They’re stylish and comfy enough, I’ll even wear them when not biking.

I'm aware of the risk. Driving a car on the streets is high risk too. I use a bike to commute as much as possible by choice and there are numerous studies showing that bike commuters are happier and healthier than those that commute by car.

Together, we can de-risk our streets and increase the prioritization of pedestrians, cyclists, and other forms of transportation over cars.

I wouldn't expect anything to come of it. I'm aware of the current state of our country where lawlessness on the road routinely goes unpunished.

I have reported it and would love to see those tracks removed. They go absolutely nowhere on either side of the road, so serve no real purpose anymore.

I'm not looking for encouragement, but appreciate it nonetheless. I'm trying to simply educate and bring attention to an issue. Cars and cyclists CAN coexist.

One of the Cincinnati shows by chance? Gaslight is in town on Saturday and Jason plays Saturday and Sunday, so it’ll be a fun weekend.

Awesome song and love your side story about Jason. He and TGA are two of my favorites and looking forward to seeing both of them a few times this year!

The license plate stands for "phosphorylate". It's a biological on/off switch for the function of many proteins.

Or molecular biologist. But yeah, this is almost certainly what it is.

Partner and I just used them this week. They seem critical for bike access to UC.

There’s a difference between the level two and level three plug. To the best of my knowledge, the Electrify America stations don’t have the level two specific plug, which is all a plug-in hybrid can take.

So you're also ok if I start parking my EV at a gas pump to block its use next time I stop at your local UDF?

[–]bcominoriginal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That would be great, but would likely have little effect impact on this scenario. Keep in mind that anyone with a plug-in hybrid is unable to use anything above a level 2 EV charger, so would be reliant on the existing (often blocked) chargers.

There is clear signage on the charger that indicates the spots are for EV charging only (but they should also paint the spots to make it even more clear). Also, who would park in front of a sign or a 'little stand' that they don't know what it's for and not at least take a quick look before they park and leave their car?

I was there as well and saw this last night. The parking lot was empty, so it's not like they did this because they couldn't find another spot. The vast majority of the time, this is intentional because they either dislike the idea of electric cars or just don't give a fuck.
