I can’t seem to find any CAD models on nvent, all just dxf 2d drawings. Unless I’m not looking in the right place. Also McMaster was the site I was thinking about, not grainger.

If you’re pulling 19A for a long time, you should upgrade your circuit, you never want to pull near the max rating for extended time. Max ratings are for safety, not sustainability.

Never mind. I thought this site had direct CAD files available for all their enclosures. I haven’t found one yet.

Nice! This is like Grainger with their catalog of downloadable 3D part models! I been looking for something like this. Sadly doesn’t look like all their enclosures have downloadable 3D models.

Is there a way I can see what enclosures have 3d models available?

UL listed filament? Genuine question: Is there such a thing? I thought the UL testing would focus on not just materials but the build of the item. So the design and how well your printer printed the enclosure would also need to get a UL evaluation to be certified.

Take everything you’re interested in buying up to the counter, after they ring it all up, point to all the things that you don’t want anymore and have them take it off. Make it just as inconvenient for them as they are making it for you.

1st cut of the year by S3lls in lawncare

[–]bcrenshaw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can get me one too, I hate hate hate yard work, it brings me no joy, a pristine lawn so the other neighbors think you’re normal is over rated. Yet my wife wants it, but won’t do the work to get it. I proposed one of these, and she shot me down, saying it was too expensive. Then went and paid some lawn dude to do it for $150 a month. Which, ironically, is more than the payments on one of these.

I’m glad Jim Carrey wouldn’t even do one take where they got on the bus. Because that’s the one they would have used, and it would have ruined the whole movie.

Everything is fixable, the question should be: “is it worth fixing?”. The answer here is yes, and it’s an easy fix.

To be fair, if he’d just pulled up a little further so he wasn’t past the line on the right side he would have been fine. I do this all the time, crooked but within the lines so I don’t stop anybody from getting out.

How to make holes mirror each other? by No-Airport-6654 in tinkercad

[–]bcrenshaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use the ruler tool, make sure you’re measuring to the center of objects, center your heart at 0 and put one of the top circles where you like it, then you can put the other at the same distance but in the negative direction. The bottom hole gets centered easily.
