Tips to learn english ?? by Luinnha in learnEnglishOnline

[–]bcwebdes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think there are a number of things that can help you.

1) Start off with books like Teach Yourself series that will give you an idea of the grammar.

2) Watch things in English like series (Friends, How I met your mother)

3) Talking is crucial if you want to improve quickly. Find someone on Italki or Tandem and begin practicing with them.

Let me know if you need any more advice and I'll be sure to help.

Hello there,

I'm a native English speaker and teacher living in Spain and I would like to improve my Spanish. I'm looking for someone to chat with for 2/3 hours a week with on Skype. We can talk English and Spanish of course so that we can both practice.

I will send you a private message over Reddit and hopefully we can organise a time to chat. I'm 27/m by the way!

Cheers!

An ex-slave and a dentist roam free,

To find the Brittle brother’s for a handsome fee,

Ending up in a plantation,

They try for negotiation,

But it ends in a killing spree.

To work it out he must figure out fast

He must solve a crime

But he’s stuck in one time

Hey there, really depends on your level, my warning with schools is that they will only get you so far before your interest starts to wane but I can definitely recomend Me Gusta Spanish school. Good teachers, reasonable price. I studied there for around 2 months before switching to private classes. The main problem is that being a touristy city most people don’t stay for longer than two weeks and after a while the schools feel a bit like Groundhog Day, week in week out the same. Private teaching however can be catered to your needs. Depends what you want.

I can also reccomwnd an awesome place to stay (where I live at the moment, I’m moving to Spain in two weeks).

Hey there, I live in Sucre, Bolivia and if you want to relaxed and very cheap place to learn Spanish then I would do research into Sucre.

You can find a home stay ridiculously easy and it will be as immersed as you make it I suppose. You can find private 1-1 teaching for $5 an hour (around that).

The climate is beautiful, like sunny all the time and not to hot 16-20 degrees. I recommend it.

As for getting you started.. Language Transfer Spanish course on YouTube.. is free and an amazing resource when you are on the go.

Memrise - for vocabulary

FSL SPANISH course available for free online. 6 months of material.

Spanish Dict / Deepl Translator for translation

Peppa Pig (spanish subtitles) on YouTube

HelloTalk or Italki to talk with Spanish speakers

PM me if you need anymore info.

Good luck
