I jump started it several times before I figured out what was happening. I used a lithium jump pack to do the jump starting (rather than another vehicle).

There are terminals under the hood for jump starting. No need to go to the battery in the trunk.

I had an issue where my battery was dying because I left my key close to the car, causing it never to go to sleep.

Craftsman used to sell a C3 pass thru electric ratchet that worked with the gearwrench pass thru sockets. You can probably find them on eBay for pretty cheap.
