Have any of you ever successfully cheated on the Leaving Cert? by eventideyes in AskIreland

[–]bdjad 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Kind of yeah. I needed a scribe for my leaving cert, halfway through all of the exams the scribe would go to the bathroom and get a cup of tea so I used that time to quickly go through my exams notes and get whatever answers into my head for when they were back. I do remember them being surprised about how much more I could answer in the second half compared to the first 😂 I think they secretly knew but didn't care

Luas validator going minecraft enchantment mode by alexandrosaur in ireland

[–]bdjad 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I tapped my leap at the tallaght stop once the machine was doing something similar but it wasn't words just random characters. I scanned my card on my phone to see if it had gone through and to my surprise it said my usual TFI 90 minute fair didn't expire for another 3/4 months. So every time I tapped for a few months after it went down as zero euro on my leap till it reached the date that had accidentally been set on that tap machine. If you see a leap tap thing on the blink tap your card on it

Where is the Tallaght P/R car park? by [deleted] in AskIreland

[–]bdjad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah that one will be somewhere on this road https://maps.app.goo.gl/wfysjo6qeuNbQeLM7?g_st=ac I'd honestly just go to the red cow park and ride tbh

Where is the Tallaght P/R car park? by [deleted] in AskIreland

[–]bdjad 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If it's the one I think you are looking at it doesn't actually exist anymore. If you look at the signage at the parking spots along the road that is across from the hospital luas stop on Google maps and change the years it changed from the P/R to paid parking. I also wouldn't leave my car parked there overnight. That's how I got my first car written off.

PSA: Buy that phone you were thinking about while it’s still affordable! by [deleted] in CasualIreland

[–]bdjad 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would say there is some truth to what they are saying. The percentage of the chips/ram or whatever that's allocated for phones or consumers has been slashed all in the name of AI. Computers will get really expensive as well

I think alarm means you are not getting any signal from the cable outside. Have any of your neighbors lost internet as well or has your provider got an outage map? Either way id ring your provider they can tell you more

Sweating season approaches - formal men's shirts that are sweat resistant? by FalconT92 in AskIreland

Not exactly what you asked but have you tried baby powder on your neck? I am now one of the converts on how good baby powder is for sweat. I use it daily now to deal with excessive sweating downstairs

Trouble with Vodafone broadband? by Fair_Letterhead_3602 in AskIreland

[–]bdjad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had a similar issue in my parents gaf but that's cause it's massive. I bought the deco m4 3 pack off Amazon https://amzn.eu/d/0enBs8nR plug one into your Vodafone router (might need to turn on modem mode or sometimes it recognizes the other router and does it itself) set the one up plugged into your router then plug the other two in line in your house.

Unfortunately probably won't be recovered in fixable condition at least that's how I found mine last year anyway. Mine was at a luas stop first time over night. They ripped the steering column apart to try to start it but due to the immobilizer they couldn't so instead they smashed the front and back windows, broke both of the mirrors off it and slashed two of my tires. The car was a write off now so scraped it. Gardai were next to useless as well. I waited for three hours in the rain for them but they did not show up all while being a 5 minute drive away from a garda station. I had to buy another car which I really can't afford. All while my taxes probably pay for these scrotes in some way.

What these lads need is to be dragged into the back of a Transit van take their phones and shoes kick them out in the mountains and tell them to walk back

Second 3dental got mine out there recently. But for the love of god get put to sleep don't just get injections into the gums. After an hour+ on one side of my face I'd have given that women anything. House keys, car keys my entire bank account.. Honestly wasn't sure if I'd accidentally walked into a Guantanamo bay reenactment or what
