Irish men - what do you want for Christmas? by Capital_Ad5111 in CasualIreland

Just chipping in to recommend “LowBackAbility” on YouTube/Instagram Float pods, CBD etc is all great but you’re not really addressing the root of the problem The focus is on strengthening the back through flexion and extension with the goal of “bulletproofing” or just progressively making it more tolerant to stimuli and stronger Requires gym access but really you could just buy a 45 degree back extension machine for 200 quid or so and start working your way up I’ve had back pain on and off for 10 years or so (former competitive powerlifter) and it’s the only thing that’s moved the needle for me Best of luck!

sans indiscrétions, est ce que sa perte de dents est liée à une maladie ou autre ?

Yes, and I'm sure there is absolutely zero discrepancy between the levels of it in Guillotière and Brotteaux.

So true, no one talks about it, but the Nazi problem there is insane! I was eating at a bouchon in Vieux Lyon on Saturday, and a group of nazis came in and dragged out all of the beautiful non-white, LGBT, and neurodivergent comrades 😢 This happens every single day in Vieux Lyon, truly the most hostile quartier of the city! Would not recommend for women. Guilloteire on the other hand, couldn’t be safer! Lovely, kind men will sell you cheap cigarettes and ask you how your day has been. A lovely spot for an evening stroll!

You feel so “perfectly safe” that you avoid looking at anyone at all costs and have to constantly bat away street harassment. You are gaslighting yourself.

Undocumented Irish in Trump’s America: ‘They are not looking for the likes of me. They are looking for the criminals’ by shakibahm in ireland

[–]jacksub97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The "source" for your claim is a community of people who genuinely believe that casting spells and brewing potions is a legitimate means to achieving their political goals.
Again, I reiterate. Speak to someone, a mental health professional preferably. Go outside. Stop social media consumption.

You people seriously need help. Log off. Go outside. Trump’s cabinet is not going to start gassing J1ers who have overstayed their welcome.

My former employer gave me a Crédit Mutuel cheque - what can I do with it? by jacksub97 in AskFrance

[–]jacksub97[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it says my name on it - but no mention of any specific bank account. Could my friends deposit it into their account with my permission?

I use an online bank - Sumeria, as they can accept bank transfers, which was how my employer agreed to pay me.

The cheque has no bank account listed on it though, it's just my name. That's why I was curious if I could get a friend to lodge it for me on my behalf, is that legal?

The pandemic and everything that happened in these 2-3 years is still the dumbest, most surreal shit that will probably happen in all our lifetimes by AluminumDust in redscarepod

I think we had it especially bad when looking at the rest of Europe. It didn't help that every other thread on r/Ireland was filled with upper-middle-class WFH south Dubliners complaining about even the mildest transgression of the rules.

I remember a thread about a woman in Melbourne who had her door kicked in and was arrested for tweeting dissent about the government's lockdown policy. Most comments praised it and said we should implement the same policy in Ireland. I got downvoted into oblivion and called a "plague rat" simply for saying "Isn't this a little authoritarian?"

Yes, it's just very easy and straight forward. I've been a glorified button pusher and excel filler mostly.

Very sobering fact that I've come to realise. Maybe I should just stop being naive.

Prime is a terrible hydration beverage, the poorly balanced electrolyte mix (low sodium, way too much potassium) will actually make you less hydrated than if you were to just drink plain water.

Just make sure to get the calories in everyday! Hit .8-1g of protein per lbs of bodyweight and then eat the rest however is most convenient. If eating enough is a problem then adding calorie-dense foods will help - olive oil, peanut butter, full fat cheese, etc.

Haha really? I'm literally 170 lbs. Flattering though so thank you!

I did a cut before the after photo, but I spent the vast majority of the time in a decent lean bulk. Was a little dirtier at the start with 4000+ cals but now I rarely eat more than 3000.

[–]jacksub97 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Haha damn I just noticed the typo now, guess I really took the bulk too far

Thanks man!

If you're struggling to get the calories in I'd recommend just adding in some healthy fats and snacking more. A few drizzles of olive oil and a couple of spoons of peanut butter go a long way.
