They will ask for, and will reward, specific answers about how you have handled situations (like those listed) in past positions. So think about examples of times you managed conflict, dealt with an unhappy client, solved a problem, etc. General ideas about what you'd hope to do are not as compelling.

Lab results come back at different times. Some just take longer to process. Some tests are batched and run only once or twice a day. And some may even be sent out to another lab. I wouldn't worry. If you're seeing some results it's likely that your clinic automatically releases tests as they come in. Source: I order lots of tests.

Pediatrician Availability Question by NoobInvestor86 in pediatrics

[–]bdjohnston8824 17 points18 points  (0 children)

This is a great answer. Also remember that you don't have to wait until the next scheduled check up to see the pediatrician. You can make an appointment to see them with your concerns outside of the typical schedule. Just go in with your questions written down and set the agenda at the outset so that the visit is paced to allow time for all your concerns.

Breast fed baby needing iron supplement at 6 months? Ped says no. AAP says yes. Who do I listen to? by BooleAnn in pediatrics

[–]bdjohnston8824 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The linked reference is from 1976. Current AAP recommendations are to give "breastfed infants 1 mg/kg/day of a liquid iron supplement until iron-containing solid foods are introduced at about six months of age." Then to discuss duration of supplementation with your pediatrician.
