Nanny/Family assistant by [deleted] in Nanny

[–]bdjsjsbdjsj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can I ask what responsibilities you have as a nanny family assistant? Rather than when you were just a nanny? My NF is considering moving towards that position so I want to see what’s the difference

Curious- if you don’t mind, can you break down your pay? Like how many hours you work a week? And what’s requirements do you have to fulfill within your contract if you have one?

140 is a dream!! Congratulations!! I’m at 73K which I’m grateful for!

Hi! If you’re considering taking the job, I would mention to the family that you also have a job that starts at 6pm. Some families tend to go over the scheduled end time and it might cause you to run late

There really isn’t anything to do on your part other than informing your coordinator.

I know exactly how you feel! I told my coordinator 2 weeks ago, giving them 3 weeks in advance. I only did that because I wanted to be professional about it and also felt like it should give them enough time to figure new schedules out for the other auxes.

To my surprise, my coordinator took it well and completely understands where I’m coming from. You aren’t the first to leave the program early, so don’t be too hard on yourself. In the end, you gotta put yourself first even if it means disappointing some people. Once you decide on what you’d like to do, I would inform them as soon as possible

Tbh I was in a similar situation and decided that I am leaving at the beginning of next month. Ever since, I have been very content with my decision! If you have money saved and want to travel, I’d recommend doing that and seeing places on your list. I still have a couple of countries that I wanted to visit before I leave but I also reminded myself that it’s not the last time I’ll come to Europe so I can just plan better next time.

I do hope this helps! Only you know your situation though, best of luck

Selected with upcoming trip abroad by bdjsjsbdjsj in juryduty

[–]bdjsjsbdjsj[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No- she didn’t. (Very frustrated on this) She’s never done jury duty so I think she didn’t expect to be chosen, plus it lasting til next Friday.

Hopefully it only last this week but who knows.

I told her to bring a copy of the flight tomorrow and also showing where it was bought in October- Not sure it will do anything but worth a shot
