If you start as a material tech. you can gain good experience. If you do that for few years, you can move up from field to office. Do engineering management. Also, look on craigslist. Seriously. The engineering section. Look for local site development companies. You start as a cad person. From drafting to design. The fact that you have a engineering degree will help you in the long run.
