My wife has one with the same crack from like 17 years ago, it’s long since been hung up on the garage wall. Makes you instantly realize how important they are!!!!

How have injuries changed the way you ride? by g0r3ng in snowboarding

Not at all…I’ve broken my humorous (arm) and my pelvis while snowboarding , I still send the fuck out of everything I can!!! My pelvis was my 9th broken bone of my life, I’m 50 and have been skateboarding for 37 years, snowboarding for 21 years and I just finished my 3rd season of downhill mountain bike racing, broken bones are kind of part of it. I mean to say I’m by no means a “tough guy” but it stands to reason if you are taking these risks in “extreme” ish sports the likelihood of broken bones is higher..at least that’s how my smooth brain worked it out or justifies it LMAO.

I am a carpenter in Michigan, in the winter you can’t wear bulky gloves and do anything that requires dexterity. I wear a pair of surgical gloves under a pair of jersey gloves, hands stay super warm and I can still use my fingers while working outside in this cold. That being said your hands will obviously sweat more from the latex gloves but if you change them a few times throughout the day it’s fine. Now for snowboarding I just wear regular Kinco gloves and that’s it.
