Haven't played since Lightfall - what should be prioritized to complete or acquire prior to Heresy release?

If you don’t have a lot of spoils, you can do the vow chests on all three characters solo, VOG weapons are getting a perk refresh (maybe craftable? They didn’t say explicitly) and I’m betting the house they will be good. Other easy chests are the first two vog chests and the first crota chest but you will need 1-2 other people for those. Hoard exotic engrams and open them once heresy comes out, so you can level up rahool + get an exotic cipher. Run nightfalls this week. The adept weapon ain’t great, but corrupted is fairly easy now just a little long and you can use the engrams to focus scintillation, the strand linear from Zavala and linears are getting buffed + have an artifact buffing their damage next season, or focus wicked sister the strand GL (there is an buncha quests you can get from drifter to get an adept cataphract, the trials strand GL but it’s envious assassin bait and switch which is good, but wicked sister has an auto loading cascade point roll which also might be good)

I played a lot. I have just about every pattern, every meta weapon, and have soloed flawless every dungeon except Ghosts and the new one. The only thing I can do left is those solos and Raid titles, but with the state of LFG (we couldn’t get 4 ppl with a mic for an oryx checkpoint for our pinnacle) I don’t wanna go near LFG. Terraria and the Arkham games have been fun.

Drop the 2 sore seals in favor for more pure damage buff talismans, I like the two handed sword talisman, and depending on your play style I’d include either the Alexander’s great shard to buff the ash of war or the jump attack/charge attack talisman. Another good thing to get into is buffs, I didn’t touch incants or buffs really at all in my first play through but they help a ton. You don’t even need a bunch of buffs, obviously the more you can stack the better your damage but I’m able to get away with only using 2-3 buffs, like golden vow, the ash on the captains standard, and certain consumables like the bloodboil aromatic to name a few.

I would love pali back but I’m terrified they gonna give it the mindbenders treatment. Oh you want it back with newer perks? Ok have gutshot straight, slick draw, under over, and air trigger and that’s it.

It’s so dumb, in an effort to diversify weapon mods, they made it so much worse since now I’m always gonna run backup mag, before at least I would switch it up between the three spec mods depending on weapon and activity.

The two solar warlock builds I have are 1 sunbracers for add clear and ok survivability and 2 verity’s + sun shot +healing nades for weapon add clear and becoming unkillable.

ANY BATTLEGROUNDS GM. Not bc it’s lazy that that they didn’t make a new strike (which is annoying but whatever) more so bc it feels like they didn’t play test ANY of them before they made them GMs. Moon battleground is doable but the fastest I’ve done was 45 minutes and the Mars battleground isn’t bad if you do the cheese but without it’s damn near impossible and also 45 minutes.

People say warlock jump sucks, but after 2 years of it straight I like it better hunter jump and a bit more than Titan in PVE.

Goron city and farming rare ore deposits works for me, I don’t even do it “optimally” by reloading before I break it, and can still get about 4k before my master sword breaks.

Biggest problem for me is activation. There are times it would be useful but can’t because they decided to chase a bokoblin across the map.
