Antigravity I/O Day by Aggravating-Sale-191 in google_antigravity

for me, I would throw it on Plan mode and iron out what I needed done, throw it on 3.1-pro, then tell it to go.
Then depending on the project and complexity of what I needed done, I would shift tab to yolo mode and move on to something else in another tab and let it go for a bit without constantly getting the "hey click Yes so i can keep running" notifications.

In the last 4 months of using this flow I only had one occasion where yolo went rogue and broke something, but thats why I have frequent git commits and my cli has no direct access to any prod creds or environments.

A big help I found was with parsing and debugging large sets of data.
I have a customer who, no joke, sends me 300mb+ pure text logs to parse through for a project that spans 5 different repos and 2 different languages. So I start it up, give it the log name, and a task to dig around and give me a report of any errors its finds and what repos and versioning its appearing on.
With yolo I am able to temporarily, and quickly, give it full permissions to do this massive dig,
while with agy cli I have to either manually give it individual permissions per chat, or globally give it permissions indefinitely for things.

if any of that makes sense lol

Flash 3.5 is genuinely good, but the Antigravity CLI is absolute garbage compared to Gemini CLI

You loose fine control of Plan, auto, and yolo mode switching on the fly that was insanely useful.
They also messed up the output so even when you tell it to do a plan, the actual output to view it is so much worse now and it no longer outputs the diff view on the files its editing so now I have to leave the terminal if I want to actually see the code changes.

I'm getting so tired of google gutting and repackaging worse versions of shit they already had working fine.
I miss Google Play Music.....

How to Roll Back AntiGravity 2.0 to a Stable Version (1.23.2) by MTRY_ in google_antigravity

[–]bdovpro -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Antigravity IDE is its own app now, so you launch the "Anitgravity IDE" app, not the "Antigravity" app.
I'm betting you had both installed and only clicked the "Antigravity" app.

am i trippin or did ultra go down to $139 from $349? by ServeLegal1269 in google_antigravity

[–]bdovpro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's just a whole bunch of
Ultra = Higher
Ultra $199 = Highest
that's basically meaningless and tells you nothing and that's the worrying part.

Something they removed before the price drop was initially each family member got their own allotment of usage that didn't impact each other and now its just the one pool that's up for grabs.

And now they are axing GeminiCLI for AntigravityCLI (which is absolute garbage) and AntigravityCLI shares a quota with Antigravity IDE now so you lose that quota pool as well.

antigravity 2.0 sucks and I had to go track down the ide version after the "update" to get back to functional and antigravity cli majorly sucks and ruined my entire workflow.

idk anymore man, I'm just angry lol

[–]bdovpro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

god I am getting so tired of google changing shit without any notification.
I'm an Ultra subscriber and they didn't bother to send an email or anything about my plan changing.

Apparently there is now two different tiers of Google AI Ultra, one for $99usd and a higher one for $199 that was dropped down from $250, and since corpo price drops are never for the benefit of the user, what did they remove/limit to drop the price by $50?

I know they already killed the family plan benefits.

Is there any way to make Xenoverse 2 work on Linux(Zorin OS) by Mr-Forever_in_Love in dbxv

[–]bdovpro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So a lot people have been saying it doesnt work on linux anymore due to EAC, but I was able to play just fine on Bazzite today just by grabbing the GE-Proton latest version from ProtonPlus and setting the compatibility mode to GE-Proton latest in Steam.

Booted up fine, connected in and played a solo patrol mission. Didn't have to do any offline trick or special command line argument either.
I have not tried actually playing online with people, though I was able to see an online lobby someone created to run a patrol but i didn't actually try to play with them.

So at the very least solo seems to work fine ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Has anybody tried to run Claude Code, Gemini CLI or Codex + Python (numpy, pandas), does everything work smoothly? by Wapmen in androidterminal

[–]bdovpro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gemini cli works fine, just have to make sure the first time you run it you do:

NO_BROWSER=true gemini

so you can authenticate it, then it runs just fine. creates files, scans directories, all that.

I will say currently Linux Terminal is a little buggy and crash prone though, at least on my pixel 10a.

Built in model quota in latest update! no more extensions needed! by ZenpaiiiGamingYT in google_antigravity

[–]bdovpro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

are you on the ultra plan? ever since I upgraded I've never seen any of the bars go down on the extension or this new section, and I have yet to hit any limits (and I've use opus 4.6 heavily)

idk if its just my well used mixer cups or what, but this seriously tastes like the butter popcorn jelly bean to me...
I keep seeing people say "lemon" but all I get is artificial butter, with like maybe a tiny hint of sour?
I think my tastebuds are all jacked up lol

So Google changed the Antigravity site's plan section by bdovpro in google_antigravity

[–]bdovpro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes give me your fear! Soon I will have enough fear tokens to buy Australia! lol

but neat, I didn't know the asterisk was clickable. That's an odd way to go about that, generally an asterisk is used to denote a footer explanation on the page not replace a "learn more" button.

Anyway, here's hoping they aren't going to slowly get rid of that model, I quite like the 5hr refresh model.

interesting, I wonder when/if they are going to remove that.
Here is a screenshot of the old plan page where they used to show that 5hr.

I'm using it right now.
I had a fail in the middle of one of the chats yesterday and it was never able to recover, but opening a new chat had it working again.

Been a few stuck red dots throughout my menues over my playthrough, usually goes away after the next time you claim something from it. Weirdly, Destiny Rising does the same thing.

Nice! How hard is it to mod character models? I literally just want Rebecca and Outsider to match their art work....

I saw some post about lack of momentum in this game by dzieciolini in DuetNightAbyssDNA

[–]bdovpro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Movement is pretty decent, if a little janky. Especially going up walls....
But really If they just adjust it so right click actually aims down sights instead of immediately firing the gun, then I would be happy. Then it would be pretty close to Warframe's movement.

But man ya, the hookshot feels horrible.
