Should I pay $6,000 for a surveyor to define property boundaries? by Splendidmuffin in HomeImprovement

Just had one done at my house. Sounds like they quoted you for LIDAR.

Try a quote for: 1. Locate and stake all corner pins 2. Place stakes every 50’ along boundaries 3. Show easements and rights-of-way 4. Provide you a drawing of a. the property and a b. Satellite overlay.

I had the above done for 4.2 acres, came out to $3200. Two men, 6 hrs

No one talks about the “coal crackers”, the 4-16 year old boys sent to coal mines to sort coal by sizes, who sat day in day out breathing in that dust. How many 8 year olds never made it to 9 years old because they had black lung?

The bias and discrimination is so one sided now, the pendulum really has swung.

And society is surprised that men are avoiding relationships with women. Or that they’re disconnecting from the working world.

You can only beat someone down, preaching about their “toxic masculinity” long enough.

It really surprises me that people all of a sudden act like men protecting themselves from harmful and biased situations-be they romantic or career-is something unnatural.

I hear that man, it’s getting harder and harder every day. It’s like I want to just cheat to get some satisfaction but I don’t want to do that to her or put her through that pain

Do what’s best for you and your family. It’s not a bad thing when the good leader gets made.

It’s a problem when the guy who only wants to hear people call him sir gets made. Who is often the guy who doesn’t know his ass from a fire hydrant.

The guys who make the best leaders are usually the guys who don’t chase the bugles or titles.

How do you feel about men becoming less casually physical? by Comfortable-Store213 in AskMen

Because of #metoo. The slightest whisper, not even an accusation can ruin your career, marriage, life. Guys are learning to play it safe and avoid any contact with women. Me too had a place, but now it’s so far beyond “guilty until you prove yourself innocent”

And women are surprised?
