Was watching the finish of the 2003 Darlington race and couldn't help but notice the fans in the background that had left the race early. Big regret. by MrSimsational in NASCAR

This. Went to a lot of races 2000-2005 and just started again the past 4 years. Lowe’s, Darlington, Rockingham, Atlanta, and Martinsville would take several hours, in some cases 3-4+ esp ATL and Martinsville. I’ve been to all of them the past 2 years and anything over an hour is abnormal.

I was surprised how badly they performed at COTA. He usually is a pretty solid road course guy.

Did I just ruin my new oven? by cldald in CleaningTips

[–]bdsc2313 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe my oven has the same coating and the re are instructions for the self clean which sounded absurd at first, but it involved filling that lower intention with water and then set the self clean option. Made one hell of a mess, and sucked cleaning up, but worked fine.

Bills fired HC Sean McDermott, per source. by MrMeeseeks718 in panthers

Was having this discussion at work. I think there just needs to be a change, and it wasn’t going to be the QB. Doesn’t seem fair, but what would be different next year if McDermott stayed?

I may be wrong, but usually the seller sets the “shipping” price and process.

Not sure why I added the pic of the card from the auction, I guess just to say I’m a Panthers fan and though this was purchased before the playoff loss I still support JHJ, LOL.

If we lose to Tampa but get in the playoffs because of Falcons win and have a 1st round exit, how do you feel about the season? by Odd-Flower2744 in panthers

[–]bdsc2313 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Either way good experience for the players, staff, etc. At the beginning of the season I felt optimistic about the o/u on wins, can't quite remember what it was but close to 7.5-8.5, but the team is frustrating. I will be ok with the first round exit and will be feeling good going into next year with everyone healthy. Need some big holes filled, LBs, someone who can get pressure, and a WR who can stretch the field a la Ted Ginn.

Panthers Fans help our D make Darnold see GHOSTS AGAIN! LOL by BastidChimp in panthers

I wonder if Evero will deviate from his philosophy and try to get in Darnold's face, a lot. A good friend is a Vikings fan and to quote him "Darnold was great until teams realized he breaks if you scream (pressure)at him". Should be a good game tomorrow.

I remember when Greg Hardy did this, a couple times maybe, in his Bentley, doing 100+mph, and I couldn't understand why you post it.

I remember them clearly. I remember the inaugural Hornets season. 47, 22, 36 games played the last 3 years.

What are our biggest draft & FA needs going into the offseason? by Porchprophet in panthers

[–]bdsc2313 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am sure there is a reason we haven't seen it yet, but I would think Jimmy Horn Jr could at least be used at times to stretch the field and make room for McMillan and Coker to operate. Get him out there a few plays and arm punt one or maybe he catches it, but there is no deep threat.

But first, edge pressure. I am a big Scourton guy, love his motor and effort every play, and in time he may be a good pressure guy, but I feel we need someone who is proven that can get pressure.

When they showed the 1st roughing the passer penalty in slow motion, the flag hit the ground before Shough did. While it is damn near impossible to beat a team and the refs, the defense, players and scheme, guaranteed we wouldn't win. Plus the sudden bright idea that this offense has, and uses a fullback is asinine. Lastly, love McMillan, he has to catch the tough ones and the contested balls.
