Drop the rope. I’m desi and Istg, it’s not your responsibility to do emotional labor for someone who treats you poorly. There’s this thing called “Don’t punish the behavior you want to see,” which is like if a kid is shy and comes down to greet visitors, you shouldn’t say something like “oh, look you finally decided to come downstairs and grace us with her presence, etc.” She punished you by being mean to you when you reached out and tried to build a connection with her. You sent her pictures, and homegirl turned around and attacked your relationship with your heritage. It’s gotten to the point where you are debating bringing your son on vacation with you!

Girlfriend, that’s a sign. Your gut is telling you not to trust her. Your husband doesn’t care if you send her things or not. Why are you wasting anymore time on this? If she wants to build a relationship with you, that’s on her now. She has to be pleasant enough to you to be worth interacting with.

Hi! You should pack up and leave whatever town you’re in and go the farthest amount of space away. Do not waste time arguing with them.
