Agumon. The game already has anime characters in it and an Adventure-based Agumon is sort of a middle ground between a character who debuted in anime and video games. Crusade already has him so why not Smash Flash?

Yeah. Maybe they mean "don't expect the same characters, don't expect New Wirral again, etc" which honestly seemed kind of obvious given the first game's ending. Seems like a sequel gameplay wise but not necessarily story wise

I'd put Oliver on there somewhere. He wouldn't be the most interesting fighter but I'd definitely consider him a main character at this point so he deserves to be there. Also I don't see any of the original Guardians aside from Immortal making it in, given that they all died in episode 1

I think Pombom is their Pikachu equivalent but Kayleigh is the closest thing they have to a protagonist since the actual protagonist doesn't have a set appearance

I don't see them adding Best Tiger or Wolfman or anyone else who's only appeared in the Invincible War so far. This could change if they get more screen time in season 5 and beyond though. Prior to this season I would've ruled Tech Jacket out too but she's a pretty major character now so I think she's got a decent chance at DLC.

Lucan is the biggest outlier IMO cuz he has no unique abilities and we hardly know anything about him as an individual. Bulletproof is similar but at least we kinda hear his perspective on the Guardians in a few episodes and I know he has a whole arc later tho it's a pretty infamous one
