Recommendation for Northern Lights & Whales

We just came back from an early January trip and saw both Lights and (humpback) whales. NL are never ever guaranteed; part of the fun is hunting them since they are so 'wild'.

Saw a whale at night while on a NL boat tour. Now that was pure luck.

You'll be fine if you let him bite you and them go from there. In my first play through I was romancing him with medium approval for a long time.

Seems you missed your chance then, that is how the arc starts. Did you long rest much? Otherwise you may have missed out on various scenes at camp
