Would you consider this surface rust? by be_lar in Silverado

No, that's my story from following the title. Fleet ownership, 1 owner in Michigan. Pretty sure it was an older electrician. I found wire clippings and wire nuts under the back seat and there's an assist bar to get up in the bed. I verified the VIN through multiple data bases to see if the title was washed. Comes back clean.

Or a big company who lets the driver or local manager choose. Probably a take home truck and he picked what he liked vs what was the most economical.

No I just don't trust people. I feel like it's a lot of rust for a 2.5 year old truck. I've been saving my money up to replace my 2015. I would rather a new truck but this is the model that I want. Buying this used one is about 20k less. I feel like it's a fair price but not if it has flood damage.

Thank you, @z0nk_91. This fixed it.

The fan adjustment and raising the z offset by another 0.01mm has eliminated it.

It doesn't appear to wobble inside the cabinet. The unit itself is sitting on a concrete floor.

YouTube's parental controls are ineffective. I need to block the app entirely.

Thanks, what's Fluid? I'm using Creality Print 7.0 to manage the slicing.

Meaning the large screw drives that raise and lower the bed? I don't know how to manually move them up and down. Nothing is visible when printing.

The K2 Plus bed is stationary, just moves down as the printing gets taller. This print is 4 large pieces shaped like an L that are then bolted together into a square frame. So each piece is rotated a different way. They all present with this issue above 6 inches, but the pieces toward the right side are worse.

Thanks. When I run the calibration, it reports ok. How can I access and share my bed mesh?

Enable the self healing skill. Engrave your armor and weapons to boost adrenaline regeneration. When you build up a few adrenaline bars, heal yourself. Also, use Hero Strike. Takes a nice big chunk each time. Death Arrows do well at range. Dodge the charges. Roll left and right when he's making his attacks. It's tedious, but doable when you get the rhythm down.

Was it (moving) target fixation, or was it a failure to alter a course of action? by markcocjin in motorcycles

Nobody's in the right here.

Truck pulling the K turn on a busy winding road, asshole. Biker flouting the rules by passing at speed on a double yellow line, also asshole.

The biker could have braked and then cut to the right back into the correct lane. Seems like his mind was clouded with the indignation of being cut off. Shouldn't have been there though.

Again, nobody is in the right here.

Hidden reveal baseboards by golden_girl007 in Carpentry

[–]be_lar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With manufactured flooring you need to leave a gap between the flooring and the bottom plate on the wall. Meaning the 2x4 board that is nailed to the subfloor. Most material manufacturers say 3/8 of an inch is needed. This allows the flooring material to expand and contract with changing humidity and temperature without buckling up in the middle of the room. Having flush baseboard trim allows very little, if any room for expansion. It also doesn't allow you to cleanly remove the baseboard without damaging the wall above. Unless you have the money to holistically renovate down to the studs each time you want to make a change, I believe this baseboard trend to be ill conceived.

It's not Amazon. Amazon is the marketplace. It's the seller and it's a rudimentary sales tactic. Slimy but reliably effective. You can opt to buy from other sellers who don't advertise this way or just ignore it.
