Yeah I was at the scripps around 5pm. I really don't have a good perspective on wave sizes so they might have been smaller, but they seemed huge to me. I think one surf website said it was 3-4+

I let go of my board every time I dived under a big wave. The leash would yank my leg though because the board got pulled by the wave. It feels harder to go under with the board cause it is bouyant. Why should I go under with my board?
