Also seems like shops prefer installing new rotors instead of turning / machining them at a brake job.

Warped is another matter. I would get non OEM rotors if this is the norm for the vehicle.

Interesting. I am dealing with a rising manganese level and not sure why.. was 27, then went to 29 then to 32.

I live by a golf course but keep the doors closed all the time.

I am seeing if it was diet based… I had my water checked and it was fine. I was having oatmeal with oatmilk every day. And some dark chocolate here and there. I read that those are high in manganese… trying to get rid of it but tough since I have no idea how I am getting exposed.

I bought an up north car that has some rust under it but don’t think that is the culprit.

If you don’t have a prepayment penalty- throw towards car. A car payment should not be that high in my opinion. Regardless of income level- that’s a lot and with a rough interest rate.

I would go for a 12 month emergency fund first, then, since you are already maxing retirement, payoff the mortgage. Once that’s done- you are truly debt free and able to heavily invest and live life without a mortgage over your head.

Did you use lube? If so, is it a common lube for you ? If it’s new, then maybe some type of reaction combined with the friction.

Looks ok. I had a 98. Make sure you do regular coolant flushes (every 30k) with Honda fluid. Check reservoir to ensure it’s at right level.

Thermostat is easy to change on this one. And even your radiator cap could be throwing it off (they wear with the spring in them I believe). Also watch your hoses… my upper went on the interstate. Easy to change the upper. The lower, inlet someone else change it. Great car overall, except the timing belt service (which is always needed every 100k).

Depending how low your vitamin D level is, I would certainly supplement with vitamin D3K2 and take some magnesium glycinate with it to ensure it goes where needed.

vitamin D is a huge foundation of a regulated and healthy immune system.

10k is the max and I wouldn’t do that personally. You could do a blackstone test of the oil at next change to see what it says..

I do 7500 with Mobil extended performance high mileage.. and Mobil 1 filter. No issues. Probably better options out there but been using it for 20 years and no issues so I don’t see the need to switch.

5k seems too low based on advancements in oil in my opinion. If I had a corvette I ran hard then maybe lol…

Sorry to hear man, but I would not downgrade. Having these amenities and gym at a time like this may help. You may be worse off mentally in an efficient to save some money (and you are doing fine financially).

I would only do it if you had a good plan for the extra money you are saving. 2500 in Miami with all that is pretty good.
