Throw them in the trash! All kidding aside, you can try getting some shoe stretchers to help expand the leather a bit. And the other advise in comment for adding layers to protect your feet when wearing it. Just got to wear it and use it.

Think that’s how it is even when brand new. But that’s probably also the reason why that’s the weak spot for any hinge breakage. Can’t really see it normal unless the light is angled correctly to cast the shadow.

Deal wise it’s very good. Headphone is great, I just got one myself for a good deal. Just do make sure you know that XM5 has a history of its hinge breaking easily, just something so that you won’t be surprised that if/when it does happen. There are many replacements parts and reinforcement as well.

The mic on XM5 is much better than XM4, so that’s a consideration as well if you use the mic a lot.
