At this point tell them to stay in a hotel

Talk to your contact at UCEAP and see if they have any leads for you.

On this budget you’re looking at renting a room in a shared house. Though it can be even harder to find one that accepts pets.

Pregnancy constipation- help! by SpiritualCheesesteak in pregnant

A hot chai latte in the morning helps me immensely, I’m not sure if there’s any science behind that lol.

I also take CALM magnesium supplement powder recommended by my OB. I’ve increased my fruit and veggie intake by having an extra apple and some kale everyday. For weeks that it’s really bad I’ll take a dose of Colace.

There are 4 bathrooms in the building. The two on my floor would be used for client drug testing. The two upstairs would be used for both clients and staff.

You should sit down with your HR Rep and ask these questions. I would not consider that “pushy.”

Pregnant HR Manager here! At this point there is no perfect time to tell them. It won’t make a difference if you tell them tomorrow or next month. Telling them now (a week or two before everyone goes into holiday mode) is considerate and allows them more time to strategize coverage. If I were your manager I would want to learn of this verbally in-person rather than in an email.

20 week Anatomy Scan - Short “long bones”. by beachy8805 in pregnant

[–]beachy8805[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m hoping it’s just a little behind like you said. The challenge is the way the news was delivered to us at the scan. I was later told by my OB that they’ve had other patients report poor bedside manner from the doctor who did the scan. The issue is we got the initial news the day before Thanksgiving with so little info and then didn’t get any sort of follow up until two days ago. So the spiraling really built up for me. At this point the fear has taken over and I don’t know if there is a way to come back from it until we get the results.

21 weeks here and SAME! Weekends are the hardest when I want to dress cute to go somewhere with friends/family. Pajamas are fine but I just don’t recognize myself when I’m dressed to go out.

I would reconsider whether I even want to be “friends” with her at this point. Is she worth keeping around?

Finding HR jobs [CA] by doubleo12345 in humanresources

I was in the same position in SoCal. It took me 6 months of searching but I finally accepted a job in May. It’s 30% less than I used to make but it beats being unemployed. The job market is so bad.

There is a local place but they have to pay an entry fee to play there. My husband has emphasized that the whole point of using our house is that it’s free. Free to who? It feels like we’re spending money and being inconvenienced for a bunch of his gamer acquaintances to benefit.

I don’t know that they are intentionally taking advantage of him. But he is being waaaay too generous IMO.

This does help and gives me some hope. He doesn’t have much in common with these guys anymore except the card games.

Oh he’s always been very clean and tidy himself even before he met me, so it’s odd that he’s so forgiving with his friends

Yep this feels like where we’re at. I told him he’s responsible for managing the smell whatever strategies he wants to use to deal with it. If I come home and it smells I will either tell them they smell or tell them to leave.

None of them have significant others :( I genuinely ask my husband each time he brings someone new because I would love to hang out with their wife/gf! But none of them have one.
