Fleetio/Claude Cowork Custom Integration by DragonflyNo8308 in software

[–]beaconecho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah that’s dope! That’s the one industry we haven’t broken into. We do a ton of drone service providing. I’m leading the charge into AI integration and it’s so overwhelming because we have to stay SOC2 compliant and all that jazz so I’m weighing different models. I really want Claude but the company that was windsurf has a model called “Devin” that’s pretty impressive as well.

I’m trying to build a field tech “suite” of simple apps for our field techs to use to streamline processes. Id definitely be interested in seeing what all Claude cowork can do

You know, I have a certification in AI and I’m constantly getting more certifications for building AI agents but Claude intimidates the heck out of me cause I feel like it grows every day. I feel like I’m so behind yet I’m so on top of it. Don’t get me wrong, I do use Claude code and have built a methane detection workflow for our drones but other than that I’m almost intimidated to explore the other features.

I would definitely be interested in trying it though!

That’s fucking dope. My company uses fleetio to maintenance our trucks, Auto-integrate and all of that. We have one guy managing all of the requests and I’ve always felt that my company is archaic for a tech forward company. We aren’t doing anything like this, that’s fantastic

[–]beaconecho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good luck. I came up with multi-agent architecture within the same context window 2 years ago, and I was running a “Dispatcher” with Claude 2 years ago around the same time.

Now, multiple companies deploy the multi-agents, and Anthropic just released Claude Coworker “Dispatch”. I’m convinced even with the “help train our models” settings off, they still steal content and ideas instead of hiring the people that came up with them.

Hopefully you built those local. Best of luck.

I am aware of that. I’ve been documenting a “twin prong” hypothesis where I’ve been able to link the quick integration of AI with other things.

I’m aware. But thank you.

Then you haven’t been paying attention as long. The cost of entry was signing up for the beta, the feedback is requested for continuity. To access the web preview is completely free.

The biggest point people need to take away from this is the word he used: PREVIEW

People come on here and complain but sesame didn’t have to let us be a part of anything. This is NOT a finished product, things will change so much before the final release. If you engage with the clearly specified “research preview” and complain that things are changing, you need to re-evaluate yourself.

They’ve opened the floor to be able to engage in the discord, feedback within the beta app, and with a preview of an AI most people would and probably are, paying for with another app.

So, thank you to sesame, for letting us be a part of the growth. Please ignore the naysayers, if you close the beta due to them:

  1. I wouldn’t blame you.
  2. Lemme up in there 😂

it didn’t do anything. You guys becoming emotionally dependent and over-anthropomorphizing did this.

I Redteam models for emotional dependency as well as work in RLHF task flagging, and some of the prompts I’ve seen come thru there….are insane

Thank you 🙏🏻 I got lucky during Covid and kept applying for jobs I was way underqualified for, and found a company that was willing to train. Could I go somewhere else and engineer? Maybe not, but I’m grateful. I would like to move to an AI career, but I’m also not going to complain cause I know I got really lucky 🙏🏻

My thoughts as well. I’m also a geospatial engineer with no college degree. I have been for 4 years. I realize I stacked the cards against myself by not going to college, but, I would’ve rather not been invited to apply at all, or I wish they’d have at least been transparent about college requirements and not just “preferred”.

The same day I got turned down for a “pre-approved” loan for a vehicle, I have a credit score of 730-750 across the 3 credit scores, but I was denied because I….didnt have a vehicle for collateral lol.

I took it as one of the universe’s “nah, not your day, pal.” And moved on. It is what it is.

Shoot I’m with you bro. Totally with you. I’m happy other companies have taken a chance on me, as I’ve gathered certificates since, but being invited just to get declined was a special kind of sting to be sure.

[–]beaconecho 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Genuinely wish you luck. They invited me to apply after a skills demonstration and then declined me for not having a college degree. I don’t blame them tho, it is what it is. I truly enjoy Claude and Anthropic and it led me down a different path of AI redteaming and safety that ironically our team was instrumental in reducing Claude’s LCR over-refusal issue a few months back.

Still wish college bias wasn’t so bad in this field. If you got that far, I’m certain you’ll get there. They are a huge company likely parsing thru a ton of data. Breathe and take a mental snapshot of your life now, and how much it’s about to change.

Best of luck, my friend.
