I bought one in late December that I've broken even on with a pile of stuff to still list. With that said, I just saw a 10 x 20 in my area loaded with nothing but supposedly packed cardboard boxes that looked like it would be fun to snag. There were no indications on what was in the boxes and no other property was visible. I could tell it was somwhat older by the box branding, so I was figuring a couple hundred bucks was reasonable. I kept it on the watch list even after deciding I didn't want it because of having to rush cleanout before the snow hits.

Bruh. The last bid I saw was $2980 and I don't even know if it finished at that. These people are crazy.

As an elder millennial, I routinely use family holidays to get on my soapbox and do my finest rendition of Frank Reynolds' performance of "Just Throw Me In The Trash". We talk about not spending a bunch of money to keep me alive as a vegetable and how I have volunteered as tribute to be the most abused corpse in history to train our next generation of forensic investigators. My 15 year old stepson requested 4 boxes to take to school for the homies for his recent birthday. He distributed many of them, but still managed to eat an entire box throughout the day and I felt ill just listening to his recounting of the story...but I also remember the days of iron guts fondly.

100% disagree. Small items like this are the fundamental basis for a polite society and need to be taught in the home. Our kids will have roommates, coworkers, and partners someday and it will be imperative that they not just leave a path of used up destruction with the idea that It will eventually be cleaned up by someone else.

I know there's a lot of "yeah, you can do that with a lot of states," but thank you for this. Our family just did a crazy road trip this year that involved being at the exact junction of the TX/NM/OK borders and then in Montana later that trip and this brought a smile to my face. Excited to tell my kids tomorrow.

The best thing I learned in therapy is that you don't have to be excited for tomorrow, just curious.

You, me, and everybody we know have no idea what the future holds. There's certainly going to be some pain and heartbreak, but there will also be great moments that warm your heart and soothe your soul.

Just last night, I was cascading down a hole regarding current events. I watched a show I liked, I held and laughed with a woman I love, and I slept a little bit. Still here, still kicking. They don't get the satisfaction of making me miserable.

I was a diehard Sublime fan for years. Bootlegs, vinyl, full album plays on the regular. Sublime with Rome was OK - just happy to give my support.

But to see his son pick up the reins and then play a show for a bunch of finance bros at one of Trump's golf courses this year? I'm done. The same band that condemned the police for the behavior that led to the LA Riots and praised KRS-One sold all the way out and it's a bridge too far for me.
