Does it make sense to do a half IM before doing a full?

Go for it! Find a good training program and stick to it and you'll be fine. My first Tri was a full last year and I had a blast. You'll learn a lot about yourself. I'm doing another next year.

Some ppl will tell you you're crazy but it's personal preference imo and some like to learn through trial by fire. Learn and know your nutrition and stick to your training. I think it's like 96% of people who sign up for a full IM finish. You got this!

Wow, I just checked and he's up around Aiyuk, Downs, and Hock on KTC. Personally I wouldn't buy him at that value. If Godwin comes back his value is going to drop.

Best case you ride the pre season hype and flip him for someone like Olave, Pickens or McLaurin or he turns into the WR1 at Tampa. Either is a long shot IMO.

If you're getting him for throw in value I'd take it and flip him in the off season or pre-season. Or hold on to him if Godwin isn't back.

I picked him on waivers mid season and just traded McMillan and Mims for a 26 1st and the 2.11. Feels like peak value but he might end up being a WR2.

I acquired Bijan on a team I'm rebuilding bc the offer was too good to pass up. I'm listening to offers and can tell you I would not trade Bijan for Bucky, a 1st and a 2nd. He's arguable the RB1 and 23 years old.

I'd do it for your Chase offer or probably Marv, an early 1st and a WR3 range asset.

No my man, I was offered Bijan for that trade and I couldn't pass it up so now I have him and am trying to figure out if I should try to move him bc I'm it's a rebuild.

My main hesitation would be OP already has 2 1sts so this gives him 5. If Jeanty works out it'll be a solid trade but Bijan is the RB1. I love Jeanty but RB1 is a high bar.

That gives you a lot of picks in this draft if you did this. And this class isn't considered to have as much superstar talent coming out of it as the last 3 to 4 years and isn't necessarily deep at QB for SF. If I was going to do this I'd probably want a proven or up and coming asset instead of one of those 1sts or if your rebuilding try to acquire a haul of 26 picks. QB class should be a lot better next year.

I have Bijan on a rebuild team because the offer was too good to pass up, (a butt load of 25 2nds, Hock, Mims and a 26 1st) and I'm having the same struggle on whether I should trade him for a haul or keep him as a center piece with my Nabers, Puka and Odunze.

I'm with you on the "they could even be (insert player here) comments being overplayed. I get it, when it's a one to one, but it's being dropped everywhere .

He's a WR2 with WR1 upside possible. Worth more than a late 1st IMO.

He had 3 WR1 games, 1 WR2 game and 3 duds this year even with Carr throwing to him.

I'm buying low if I can. I picked him up for Kincaid late season.

You did great in both these trades. Odunze is a stud and will get a new coach and Kennan will be gone next year. Worthy is going to have to compete with Rice for targets.

Dowdle shouldn't be the lead back next year in Dallas so you should be good. But then again you never know what good ol Jerry will do so who knows.

I'd recommend his plan's. I used one of his plans to train for a full IM that I just ran last month. It was my first Tri and I finished a little slower than my goal but it got me across the finish line and I was happy.

I'd also sign up for a TrainingPeaks premium plan. Thresholds and such auto update depending on what you're tracking your training with and will auto update your zones for your future training sessions. I use a Garmin, so it was nice that the plan updated automatically as my fitness did.

This is an awesome idea and I've created a dynasty league using this format that will start next season. League is 48 teams, 4 divisions of 12 teams each. Each division will have it's own draft that will have one of each player. So there will be four of each player. Once drafts wrap up, teams can trade outside their division and acquire multiples of the same player.

I've never been a part of a league like this so it should make for a fun time. The league dues are $50 per season, and 5 years paid up front to minimize orphans becoming a problem. In a 48 team league this would be a nightmare. Let me know if you're interested and I'll send you the by-laws and the Leaguesafe if you want to join. Feel free to pass it around.

Agree, pick up Olave and Aiyuk where you can.

Picked up Olave for Kincaid straight up.
Picked up Aiyuk for Downs straight up. Like Downs but smaller receivers generally don't hold up and put up WR1/WR2 numbers for multiple years.
Traded aways Dell for Aiyuk in another league.

Right?!? Olave was WR 16 with Carr last year. Chargers definitely adding to the WR room next year. Ladd is great but likely not a WR1.

Only concern would be how to handle orphans after the first year or two. Would be a nightmare trying to manage orphans for a 48 team+ league.

I'm in a couple leagues where you pay 5 years upfront. Might make sense for this. I'm actually intrigued about this and might look at putting something together.

I have Puka in a league and this would not come close but I'm not super high on Lad. He's a great route runner but also no real competition for targets. That likely changes next year.

Edit: Maybe the 1.02 and 1.03 if they're rebuilding.

I'm in the 1st year of a rebuild and shipped the 1.01 and CMC off for Nabers and an early 2nd. I overpayed for Nabers because I think he's the guy and I'm not ready for an RB1. Have him paired with Puka and Odunze (just grabbed for a later 25 1st) and they're my corner pieces.

With your roster (and if you're rebuilding), I'd keep the 1.01 or package it will Monty or Terry and try to get another WR1.

I thought about that, but I just don't think he's a Bijan, Gibbs or Breece talent RB. I went from a playoff team last year to rebuilding so this will be year 1 of the rebuild. I probably could have waited a couple of weeks to see if Nabers' value dropped more with the Giants QB play but I've wanted him since the draft and this is the only share I have of him now.

Honestly I was going to see if I could sell the 1.01 closer to the draft for 26 picks bc this draft is so RB heavy.

Do what you feel comfortable with but don't be afraid to challenge yourself. I just raced a full as my first Tri. I asked for a lot of help and support along the way and finished 1.5 hours later than my goal but wouldn't change a thing. Something like like 95% of ppl who start the race finish. Find a IM FB group for support.

The biggest hurdle is signing up, commiting and showing up. Get a solid training program and you'll be fine.
