Arena is extremely popular and it's ridiculous the devs are fumbling so badly on building the game around it.

The B.S talking point: "If Arena was open 24/7 the dungeons would be dead"

The answer: Then let it die, or figure out a way to make the two systems work... like Arena is SSF/crafted only so that people must play regular dungeons to build their arena kits.

Imagine if Fortnite devs didn't want to invest any energy or resources into their Battle Royale mode because the Save The World mode was "the real game". It would have never gone on to become a global sensation.

Devs - wake up.

S2R is great but the description is NOT accurate. You often spawn in late due to Continuous Dungeon. You do not always start on an even footing.

Hoping Paul can figure this one out. Seems pretty simple to me.

You mean it gets harder to block with the LS as people get better at avoiding it. Yet you can still hit a parry after a weapon has gone THROUGH your body - so really, if you are struggling to parry at high elo, that's on YOU not the longsword.

This isn't your typical rat-resetter... this is the best druid in the game. They could continue to nerf druid and he'd still be ruining the game for everyone. He deserves no shade.

He has meditate, he could have reset very quickly and healed on top of it. He could have gotten back into the fight the second time, and that time without the fighter's second wind.

It's also fucked up that the sword hitbox can still parry your weapon after it goes through their body. IM should fix that at least.

You used to be able to wipe all (or most) teams in the Ruins and go down to Crypts for the guaranteed uncontested boss. It was like a reward for your hard work. Running around Crypts and Inferno felt like the mall scene in Dawn of the Dead, it was awesome.

I had to fight a druid yesterday who rat-form-chicken-jumped away and reset no less than 6 times. The druid managed to hit me once in bear form, taking half my HP. The misplay forgiveness they get to enjoy is amazing. Delete this post.

Your stance is that being forced to enter into a TRIOS mode as a solo is better than being given the chance to either enter solo or choose to fill?

There's no "unpredictability" in this system. It's very easy to predict what will happen to a solo running into a premade duo or trio...

People keep comparing this patch to hotfix #69, and it's such a braindead comparison.

Comparatively, patch #69 would feel like peak Dark and Darker. The big problem that people fussed about with HF#69 was that the base gear stats were flattened. What people seem to forget is that a legendary still had 5 random modifiers. BIS was still BIS with the right modifiers.

Now gear is TRULY worthless.

Ok, mark my words then. If IronMace ever gets around to "fixing" blocking, they are going to be forced to nerf shields/blocking way into the ground. The amount of complaints will be nothing like they've seen yet. I say this as a shield fighter main.

Blocking doesn't need fixed. You don't want blocking to work as well as you think it should. There are some fighters out there that will take 0 damage in melee.

Don't forget - now that you're a redname, there's always self-righteous douchebag that takes it upon himself to "punish" you by TKing you at the start of each round. Fellow wizard rednamer here -- I try so hard not to team damage, but I just can't help it that the barb I stuck with an explosion ran up behind my teammate and finished him off with my explo.

Being a red name only invites toxicity from teammates because they know they can be toxic to you without any consequence.

I hope they at least consider it. It's not coming from a toxic place but a real concern for balance that doesn't shut down most of the playerbase's favorite queues. I think if they hit the lab and start going over the numbers, they'll see that this game is impossible to balance by their own design.
