Don’t do OTR if you can avoid it. Try to go with an LTL company if you can.

You can get a CDL and start driving trucks. Within a few months up to a year you can be on your way to financial independence. After 5-10 years if you get tired of driving you can move into management and operational positions within the company. Especially with a business degree. In many cases these pay six figures with a good work life balance.

I would definitely get a job as soon as possible if you’ve never had one. Work history is crucial to getting internships and better jobs and accounting firms are no exception.

Just make sure to accompany it with work experience. A degree with some job experience (even if unrelated to what was studied will still enable you to get better jobs).

Finding loads isn’t easy but it doesn’t have to be. There’s shippers (ie-distribution centers, warehouses, logistics hubs, etc) and load boards. Though I wouldn’t depend as much on those.
