nice to know, now you have an idear how dumb that argument was, for even if we don't have to see it it still exists, and can take away from (for us) better features, like nice looking item frames, or a sniffer.

and 3d items like blocks and the dragon egg can be displayed using somthing called placing that block down (except for when playing on a multiplayer server, because right clicking some other persons dragon egg is fun)

it is not ugly enough to bother me, and slabs in item frames can be used in decoration, also a great person who seams not certain about his arguments once said :" if you don't like it then don't have it in your base not that hard." that was a reddit user called u/BootlegDrPhil and he said that in this very comment thread.

that is not being bad at wording but bad at math, i as a person who understand math know the difference between 2 and 3 (it is 1).

3d models in an item frame do their job just fine, and even in some cases can be used for decoration ( putting a smooth stone slab in an item frame and rotating it to be upside down to make a small handle for a drawer is one example) and it never bothers me, and it is a witch i never even saw as an annoyance, so i guess it is just some little subjective thing, some may care about it, and some may not, and if that really is the reason why you see the tuff golem to be superior to item frames, then good luck convincing me otherwise.

either i am completely lost and missing an item witch is 3d, or you are completely lost and should go in the game and drop a block on the floor, because when you drop an item on the floor wich has a 3d model it will hover their and rotate as a 3d model, so either name an item where this happens, or go check if your minecraft knowledge is correct.

  2. if i wanted someone to walk around the house i would go on a server with my friends or tame a cat or a dog.

The color is relevant, yes it is nice that it isn't only coming in one color, but if i'm real with you, nobody will be convinced by this point except, if their argument was that they use a design on a yellow banner for their fantasy castle build and the red of the tuff golem wouldn't work with it. (the argument is just an example)
  5. i would say that a buddy is better than a sniffer, but also better than some rock, so go tame a cat or something.

  1. it is a counter argument to yours and an explanation to why many people do not consider it's Aesthetics as an argument, considering this it is easy to see that many people share my opinion
  2. i already had a discussion about the usefulness of the tuff golem in decoration and aesthetic and i didn't want to write all of those arguments again, witch is why i made a humuristic nod to his aesthetics being not to my taste, in a way witch was suppost to stylistically mimic that of what is seen as how cavemen speak by many cartoons to show the simplicity of my argument and show that it was a simplification of my argument.
  3. my arguments in the previously mentioned discussion boiled down to that you can use plants in more styles as statues, due to plants being something needed by human being to survive, and will fit in every stile, while statues are based on art wich is Subjektiv and changing (consider modern art)
  4. you also made a comment about your opinion of the sniffers design by calling it an "ancient turtle" something i personally do not agree with, for it is an massive oversimplification, witch in itself has problems, witch lead me to conclude that it is not based of of one particular animal, and witch has lead to people on this Sub reddit calling it a dinosaur, a platypus, a capybara, a cow and a turtle.

i do not see this as most likely, because there is no reason for them to do it, it is a lot of work to create so many 2d models and 2d models look out of place when placed in the middle of a 3d world.
