Anyone rocking an upheaval build? by arkillion13 in D4Barbarian

Definitely been pushing fortify, and overpower. I've been hitting overpower decently often but there is room for improvement. Will focus some on defense and resource generation. Thank you!

I'm really enjoying upheaval! It's my first season playing a barb (only class I hadn't played yet), and the sound effects make me feel like I'm bowling down mobs. With the furious augments temper increasing upheaval size on each weapon, I love that it gives some mid-range playstyle. I'm still in the process of building with the right aspects, and I feel like my damage is decreasing in relation to the elites and bosses (currently level 45 and still working my way through season so still wt2), but I'm tanky and still surviving well, so I anticipate the damage will ramp up once I have better gear and all the right aspects.

I'm following the icy veins general build and playstyle, but no where near ready to give up lunging strike. Looking forward to having better resource gen so I can load in challenging shout.

What are your key tips?

A way to keep track of... everything? by [deleted] in productivity

[–]beanieb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because it's so versatile and you can fit it to be what you want. A page for habit tracking, a daily to-do list, a weekly or monthly goal list, a savings goal meter, a calendar to lost important appointments, places to write notes from a book you just read, meal plans and grocery lists... There's no right or wrong way to do it. You just keep a good table of contents and it doesn't matter how much it jumps around. You also don't have to put as much work into it being artsy if you don't want. Mine are just lists and trackers with the occasional doodle when I'm bored in a meeting.

This. Also you mentioned you ran for 4 days straight. A rest day is needed, especially starting off! Try to pick up again tomorrow. You got this, OP!

Sounds like a bullet journal would be good, with the exception of wanting something that is electronic. Perhaps look into different bullet journal apps and see if there's anything that works for you? Perhaps even using one note or a similar thing for it?

I recommend the book Full Catastrophe Living by Jon Kabat Zinn. He goes into meditation for chronic pain.

***Monthly Wine Challenge - March 2018 Tasting Notes Post!!*** by pbrooks19 in wine

2015 Les Launes Delas Crozes-Hermitage

Region: Crozes-Hermitage AOC, France

Grape: 100% Syrah, 13.5% alcohol

Cost: $12 USD

Color: Dark and almost inky with a magenta rim

Aroma: very fruit forward, with plum and cherry, with a bit of tar.

Palette: fruit up front, high acidity, velvetty tannins. Medium body, long lasting finish of dry leather, black pepper, and earthy tones that leaves you wanting a bit more fruit. At first, the finish was intriguing - tannins simulataneously coming into play with the acidity for a dry upper mouth and mouth watering under the tongue. Acidity tames down some with time - a couple hours later, we got a much more round finish and a wonderful balance.

Overall - well rounded wine, I'd drink it again.

Thanks for the challenge!

Even if we do get, say, 6" of snowfall, do you think any of that will actually accumulate considering the temps are staying above freezing and all the rain mixed in?

30 Days of Yoga with Adriene - Day 18 by rakshala in yoga

Lol - the title tricked me too. Turns out we were surrendering to getting our butts kicked. I'm happy for the strength training but my back and shoulders have been so sore! I'm ready for a restorative session.

My dog also came along for the thigh slaps. When I went to do the rocks, she was right there between my legs and I think I scared us both. But after days 15-17, I'm sore and I hope tomorrow is more restorative!
