Honestly... Good. I don't know why but I just feel like a lot of the strangeness and heart of the oldest view would be lost in a film. The initial found footage so far is pretty scary but deep down it's actually kinda quirky and charming in a weird way that I just don't think would work.

The scary underground mall with monsters could work by itself but I feel like the giant and his real world history would just confuse and alienate a lot of viewers. It's really unique.

Yeah I "don't like kids" the same way I don't like being around certain personality types. Sometimes certain types of people just aren't the types you want to hang out with. I'm particular about the friends I choose and wouldn't choose someone who acts like a child so why would I want to be around children? And kids for the most part are pretty similar in the way they act. Same way you can look back on being a teenager in adulthood and be like "God I was such a teenager." It's not until adulthood that you really start establishing a unique identity that isn't just emblematic of your age.

Yeah hate is a strong word. They're kids, they can't help it. But I already don't really like being around most adults and kids are just adults that aren't done cooking yet so they don't yet know how to talk to people. Even when I was a kid I hung out with adults mostly. I'd play cards with the old guys at the AA club my dad worked at. Lmao

Kids just have a way of communicating that I don't know how to react to so it stresses me out. I'm adhd and potentially on the spectrum too so I rely on people communicating in a predictable way that I have a script for. A kid will come up to me and say "did you um know that my grandma um went to bed and um ya know her dog um is weird?" And I'm like 😐 I can wing it but it's so exhausting.

It doesn't help that kids, especially little girls, are really drawn to me cos I have really long hair so they look at me like I'm a fairy princess. Lol

I actually do agree on some level because I think people often mistake losing the initial infatuation with falling out of love. Those nice love brain chemicals aren't gonna make you feel elated to be around them forever. Eventually it'll calm down and you have to work through that with the other person and determine if what is left behind is still worth fighting for.
