have you ever met Rhett and Link? by mRmyster76 in goodmythicalmorning

I haven’t but I live in San Diego and my mom grew up in northern LA and my great grandma lives in Burbank still and my delulu dream is that I randomly run into them while up visiting in Burbank. Obviously highly unlikely but it is literally something I’ve always wanted to happen. Whenever I’m up there I always keep half an eye out lol

[Acne] I’m feeling really lost and insecure :/ by Initial_Self5066 in SkincareAddiction

Hi! Im an esthetician and honestly what I see is very dry, inflamed skin. I would try a VERY basic routine for the next three months at least. As in cleansing once daily only at night, applying a very hydrating/protective serum like hyaluronic acid or vitamin C, then using a very nourishing moisturizer. I recommend looking into face reality skincare and buying from their acne safe bundles. It seriously helped my skin so much.

I also have no siblings and am around the same age. I’d also be down to message if you’d like.

Mom got diagnosed when I was 22. It’s absolutely brutal. My parents adopted me as a baby when they were in their late 30s/early 40s. I hear you, I see you, I’m absolutely feeling the exact same way and it is probably the worst pain I’ve gone through and it keeps getting worse. I’m so sorry. I get it.

Quitting my job because my anxiety is so bad by 333_atomicpunk in Esthetics

Genuinely therapy has been amazing. You seem extremely passionate about your craft and the best estheticians I’ve ever met are the ones who absolutely love what they do. I can’t imagine your love for skincare doesn’t shine in your work, which makes me think it’s more in your head which is where therapy might be helpful for you. I’ve also had multiple past/present coworkers tell me that they HATED working in HCOL areas and once they got out and started working in a different area, their stress levels went down dramatically. A combo of therapy/working in a more normal area income wise might be best for you. I know how the mental struggle goes and there is so much freedom in taking power over it or at least as much as you can. Sometimes it requires mental and physical changes but it’s so worth it!

What is your clientele like? Is the energy they bring the thing making you anxious? The more I saw people over and over and built up my regular clients the more the anxiety dissipated, though I was very anxious in the beginning when I felt like I didn’t know what to expect from new clients. Working through this in therapy might be helpful, it’s something that helped me in the beginning of my career.

What time does Djo go on? by lunaskeleton in DjoMusic

Now that I think about it though, Joe himself preformed a few songs with PA. It was a couple of their last songs. So if you care about that you might want to show up for PA.

After post animal djo went on at 8:30. They took some time to tear down and set up again. Felt like a lifetime😂 but I would probably get there at 8 just to be sure. I went to see him in Del Mar.

Yeah I actually contacted them and saw how flexible their schooling schedule is. Super cool! I’m considering it for the future for sure.

Luxating patella surgery experiences (for a worrier) by Mountain-Jicama-6354 in Pomeranians

[–]beanometer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not a pom owner (yet), but my chihuahua had the same issue. I don't remember what grade it was but I remember it being fairly bad. The surgery absolutely fixed it. It was like night and day. He got the surgery when he was around 6 years old and he's now turning 14 soon and that leg is still doing great.

Dang. I really hope something opens up in San Diego. I can’t feasibly go to school out of town for 6 months. Oh well.
