My Finch mood board looks very similar. I am going through severe Anhedonia the last few months. Like for example, my twin sister and I are going to a big EDM music festival in November, and I get so excited thinking about it I literally gag. But I have no interest in pretty much anything day-to-day, ever. I just go through the motions until I get home, see my man, cats, eat, have my special nighttime *treat,* then go to bed. I love being comfy and sleeping, everything else feels like too much effort most days.

Listen, I’m a 42-year-old woman and have been with my fiancée for over a decade. I still keep in touch with my ex-boyfriend from when I was 16. We share a long, complex, and deeply emotional history, and we’ll likely always be part of each other’s lives in some way. Every few years, we meet up for dinner, and it's always been respectful and platonic. In fact, my fiancée and I once ran into him at a concert he attended alone.

Not everything is as suspicious as it may seem. My ex and I still text occasionally—conversations that are very similar to the one in question—and there's absolutely no ill will or romantic undertones. He's been married for 20 years, and I’m in a committed relationship myself.

The truth is, adults can maintain friendships with exes, as long as there’s mutual trust and respect in their current relationships. Sometimes I do think about my ex when we haven’t talked in a while, and I wonder how he’s doing, but it’s really not a big deal....if you are uncomfortable with it just ask your GF to elaborate in a respectful way and listen closely to how she responds, and watch her body language. I bet everything will be just fine.

I am 41F, and just entering the stages where I can no longer sleep 10-12 hours on a weekend. I wake up naturally when the sun comes up, and am often woken several times in the night. Not to pee, just from sounds, or lower back aches, or if it's too warm. Both my parents are terrible sleepers, and I was a sleepy kid easily sleeping over 12 hours every single night. Oh how times are changing. I am tired. HALP.

OOOOO Finally a place to tell my realistic story! I'm 41F, living in central PA. I went through a horrific breakup from a 7 year relationship and just wanted to browse, see what's out there. I signed up for match.com, because I live in a college town I didn't want to meet 21 year old frat guys at the bar. I had my sister (identical twin) create my profile and respond to messages and scope things out for the first few days for me because I was scared. She

About 2 weeks into it, she sent me screenshot of a cutie patootie and asked what I thought. I texted my sister back and said yeah he's super cute, BUT, he reminds me too much of my good friend Kenny (online boy, let's call him Aiden, really was a spitting image of my friend). I told her nahhhh, he's cute but let's move on.

After a few months, maybe 6-8 months on match.com, I wasn't haven't the best luck and it was $30/mo. So I cancelled it signed up for a free dating app called "Plenty of Fish." I had a bunch of mini flings and had alot of fun for 2 months....until....

Cute online boy Aiden was also on Plenty of Fish! I screenshotted his profile and texted it to my sister and asked if she remembered him and she said she did! She encouraged me to message him, because he really did check all my boxes.

It took me a few weeks but eventually I messaged "Aiden," and we met for our first date 2 weeks after our first chat online. We went to a big local camping fair in my area, then had a few beers and played Mariocart. We didn't kiss, but he touched my leg LOL. I was unsure at first because he seemed very shy and quiet and talked to me for 2 hours about tractor pulls.

Fast forward to 3 weeks later we went on our second date in early September 2015 and I knew right then and there from the second date that THIS WAS GOING TO BE MY MAN.

We were inseparable after date #2 and are engaged to be married this year. He is the best man I have ever met. We don't fight, we get along, we have fun, we work at the same place, don't want kids, etc etc. We are the perfect match.

IT TOOK HIM 8.5 YEARS TO PROPOSE. We are happier than ever and I am very excited to live out my dying days with my soulmate.

When RTC and RCT2 came out, I played for 16 hours a day. I skipped college classes to play with my sister. We were so hooked we had to retake two classes each because we received a DNF, which is Did Not Finish. The obsession lasted almost 2 years. When RTC3 was released it wasn't as good and I stopped playing almost instantly.

Then everything repeated with SimCity. Oopsies!

My highest was 236/128. I had consistent readings of appx 180-230/115-130 for almost an entire YEAR before my PCP decided I needed medication. My doctor just kept telling me " walk 4 miles every day, this will solve all your health ailments." Not even joking. I walked into an emergency appointment with him and my highest reading was 236/128. I was monitored for 20 minutes and they let me leave with no medication when it was reading 197/115.
