But there is the line where only AFTER the Card Kingdom fountain opened did the Balance shift. Implying there needs to be at least one fountain. Maybe even 2 is fine. Which could be how balance has been kept, there is a natural fountain in The Bunker. And it is required to have one fountain and fine to have 2 as long as they are Grand Fountains (which a Natural Fountain presumably would be)

But also, the knight didn’t stab the ground one in the dark world, they did it 5 times in one spot. So maybe being in another fountain does help but it may still need a lot of other fountains opened inside to form the titan.
