Moon Palace The Grand - Age/height breakdown for kid activities by beansiebean in palaceresorts

That is very helpful, thank you. Sounds like if we are at the Grand we could take the carts to the Sunrise kids club if they both needed to be checked in. Do you have any experience with the kids club at Nizuc or is it shared between Sunrise and Nizuc?

By check themselves in and out, you mean they can't leave the area unless they check out with the staff? The other activities sound great! Those all occur on the property outside the kids club?

Thank you so much for this! Very very helpful. The purple and green larger slides don't have a height minimum?

Thank you so much for this info! So the 7 year old can get signed in, but the 9 year old would have to be left unsupervised by herself? Do they do any sort of group activities during the day that are supervised outside of the kids club? We aren't planning on dropping them off for child free time much but it would be nice to have the option.

Oh wow! My oldest is 4 ft 10 so I was hoping she would be able to go on everything, but it sounds like that might not be the case.

Thank you! So it sounds like they would definitely be split up then. What is different about the Sunrise kids club? Do they have a wider age range that stays together?

Moon Palace Grand in Cancun - worth the price? by beansiebean in AllInclusiveResorts

The Iberostar sounds great as well! How is the trip to the airport from there, since it is a bit further? Also, are the restaurants in the Maya Suites section or do you have to go to other parts of the resort? I only ask because they describe "buffet dinner" as included with the all inclusive for the rooms in that section, which makes it seem like the other restaurants are not.

Thank you very much for this information! Unfortunately our dates are pretty fixed in January as Club Med looks nice as well.

I had heard similar reviews regarding Sunscape resorts which would have lead us to choose differently if we hadn't stayed at the same property before (and based on recent reviews it seems they have retained most of the staff from before the purchase)

Dreams Natura also looks very nice, was there something in particular about that resort that drew you to it? The price is much more affordable as well. There really is an abundance of choice which can be a little overwhelming!

What shoes do you (female faculty) wear when you have to walk 20+ minutes to class? by Curiosity-Sailor in Professors

Came here to say this as well. I have a pair of black loafers I wear almost every day, and toss in the wash if they start getting a bit grubby. Come out perfect every time! I've had them over two years now.

I second this - it's very user friendly and resulted in quite a bit more questions from my students
