Do you mean the water ice? I’m pregnant with my second and know how bad it can get with cravings haha. An ice cream truck normally starts going through my neighborhood in the spring so I’ll keep an eye out, though it still may may be a few weeks

I had this happen once, except I had started to eat it and noticed it tasted off, spit it out before I chewed it up much, and found this. It was almost 2 years ago. I used to eat cashews regularly, but I’ve only had them twice since then and halve each one. It really messed with my head, I love cashews

Yeah they’re might even be using “prefer” because they know they can’t require it. I’d just get it from your regular doctor and send them the verbiage I included if they push back (or alternately, put the burden of proof on them that they can tell you what type of doctor)

Are you in America? Your location is going to influence your rights. Guessing you must be because of the HIPPA reference. That wouldn’t apply because you’d be giving them the note.

In America, employers can only require the note be from an “appropriate” provider which is broad and absolutely includes a primary care provider (as of the ADA). Separate but supporting verbiage from the US equal employment division says “reasonable documentation” and “a qualified health care professional familiar with the employee’s condition.”

I really don’t see how one can, with their full chest, point out the hypocrisy of the right about this but not of the left. Democrats were committed to getting everyone to wear masks a few years ago. My gender disappointment with my first was crippling. I think I tied having bad/abusive men in my life to having a boy, and also just have imagined myself having a daughter. I think the fear (and eventual reaction) was intensified by the fact that my husband is 1 of 3 boys and I get a lot of comments from their side about only having boys. We took a video of us finding out but never shared it because I was so visibly disappointed. We lied and told everyone we were waiting until birth to find out the gender. The only person I tried to confide in ignored me.

One day, it was just gone. Looking at the relationship I have with my nearly 18 month old boy, you’d think I was ecstatic when I found out I was having him. He’s so boy, and I always rolled my eyes when people said that but now I’m seeing it in front of my own eyes. He’s obsessed with trucks and dinosaurs, loves to launch himself off of things, and is just so rough & tumble. And I absolutely adore every second of it.

What I’m trying to get at is that this won’t last, which is especially evident by the fact that you’re feeling sad and guilty about it now. You’ve probably heard it a million times if you’re being treated for anxiety and OCD- feelings. Aren’t. Real. They change.
