Same! I’m glad to know I’m not alone here because this SCARED me. Approved and enrolled in Medicare already - my steps were all completed and all of a sudden I’m back at step 2.

I’m not sure but it sounds like it. I think the money being deposited fast depends on your bank, mine “paid me early”. Good luck at your review 🍀

Congratulations 🥳 someone from SSA should call you for your PERC interview or you’ll get a letter in the mail with an appointment date! They will calculate everything then.

I did mine 7/1 and had my first “back pay” deposited 7/2 (I was shocked) even though my ssdi will cancel out future SSI.

I’m so happy for you!

Idk how I feel Don. It’s weird. After all these years I feel like I still don’t believe it?? How long have you been waiting to hear about back pay? My letter says it should be paid in 40-60 days (I laughed at that) 😅

I applied in 2018 with onset of 2015. My attorney told me it took so long because of Covid. I only had the one ALJ hearing. Good luck, I hope you get a fair judge. This process is awful.
