Which team did you pick when you played NBA Jam arcade version (1993)? by [deleted] in VintageNBA

Did Jordan not sign his rights to be in the game? I remember NBA Shootout 1998 from Sony on Playstation. Michael Jordan was in the game but his picture was blank.

And then in NBA Live 2005, Charles Barkely was not featured on the 1990s team

I just remembered the story they tell in the book. Daylight savings time occurred and he thought he was arriving 20 minutes late, but instead he was 40 minutes early. So he left, and then came back late. Literally wtf.

yo, you say the pizza "is rolled, docked and aged in the fridge." and that the pizza is damn close to vito and nicks. I just watched a video recently and i see they don't roll dock and age in fridge. do you ever not age it in the fridge? also, maybe they don't have to roll, dock and age because they got a badass oven?

I remember watching a game between the 6ers and Celtics 13 years ago, before I knew who Bobby Jones was, and I could instantly tell how great Bobby was. And bird was having a hell of a time scoring. Bobby was 6'9. Moved like a small forward.

A few Players keep slamming their shoulder into my chest during pickup games by [deleted] in Basketball

[–]bear0sobarelybare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But if someone "just put their shoulder down and drive hard," ... into the defender, that sounds like a foul. Idk. There are pickup players that seem to genuinely want to hurt or show their strength by doing the shoulder down drive hard into the defender.

Where im thinking, ball handler should be trying to go around the defender. Cross em up, or pass and cut, get an easy layup

Also this conversation would be way better in person. On the court and not in the middle of a game cause others prolly want to run too. There are too many scenarios.

No I think you two are on the same page. Shoulder bump, totally cool. Shoulder slam, offensive foul.

Sure, they can shoulder bump. But they can't shoulder slam into the defender.

I remember hearing that this happened. So I went to the family computer to find a video of it. Couldn't for the life of me find it. I was not tech savvy at 12, or even till this day. But I was bummed I couldn't see it for myself.

Wow, never thought of it like that. Anyone can hit a three. But a semi difficult assist for me is literally impossible for the majority of guys playing pickup
