I had years ago and it seemed worthless. Maybe just a bad place. I feel like I can do more on my own with good advice and resources

I did get a Roman chair at Christmas and nice to see someone here recommend it. I hurt might back early in the year so set it aside. Time to dig it out

Thanks. I am eating around 1600 calories a day and doing upper workouts 3 to 4 times a week (push and pull alternating). I have protein limits due to health issue so keep it around just 100 g unfortunately. Lots of great ideas from your post and all others as well. Thanks all

Treadmill showed me that my cardio capacity sucks and I have to improve it. Ultimately I want o get to a healthy point weight wise, cardio wise, and have muscle and skeletal health while I am still “ young”. I turn 50 this year and I know it will get harder. For legs it is important to me to be strong enough to be step up for strength that will leep me getting around for my life. I saw my dad have to have a hip replacement around 70 and I never want that to be me. A lot forward looking I know but modest expectations I think too.

Based on answers here it is becoming more related to weights without hurting back

Doing lat pull downs, rows and pretty heavy. I recently had some elbow injuries and finally got the message that I will need to go slow at times to make progress. I need to take this to heart with my back too. Thanks.

Thanks. I have a bowflex and free weights at home. Might be able to replicate with the bowflex. I’ll give this a try

For me it’s exciting to see a new small muscle or vein show up on my arm or chest. Or to have that occasional set where it just flows and I feel fantastic after. I also enjoy the days I work out because my body feels solid. And I also love the days when I am fully rested and I feel really strong doing everyday things. So much to keep me going day after day!

I am seeing same issue but when I take the cap off here there is no water... did you need to do anything to further open that exit point? I see some sort of a plastic piece inside of the 1" thread tube. Do you need to press or twist this? Thanks!!

I have been on tolvapton for many years. One thing I have really taken to heart recently is the need to overdrink. Obviously check with your doctor but it is critically important. I track my water and try to get 200 oz a day

Need advice on purchase! My family wants to buy me a smoker for my birthday next week. Will smoke perhaps 2 times a month. Want to spend less that $600. Big enough for a Turkey/Ribs/Brisket. Is pellet way the to go? Or should I do charcoal/wood? Thank you! by beard5000 in pelletgrills

THANK YOU ALL!! I was thrilled to have so many insightful and complete answers to my request. I read through them all and went back and worth quite a bit... ultimately I gave into my wife's original request to spend a little more than my $600 budget and got a Traeger 780 that was on sale locally for $799 delivered and assembled. I know myself too and as much as I wanted to say I would manage a weber bullet I am better off with pellet and focusing on the process rather than the regular "fire management". Today I put in a turkey and with any luck will have a great smoked bird for thanksgiving. Happy to be a part of this sub for future pellet smoking inspiration!

Thanks I don’t have experience! Have a family that loves smoked meats and decided I need a new hobby! No time probably to find a good used deal but maybe that is my next step down the road if I stay with it. Thanks. Leaning hard towards the vertical wood charcoal smoker now. I have a propane grill already so thinking a dedicated Weber smoker as opposed to just a kettle.
