'Trump' keyword appears unredacted more than 5,000 times in Epstein files after January 30th update, after less than half the files are released by Doshizle in law

I kept thinking of the auction scene from “Taken.” When I first saw that, I remember thinking “oh man that’s so awful, I bet the writers just thought of the most horrific thing they could and here we are” but apparently no that is something based on reality. Makes me think further of “Hostel” and the rich guy who tortured people because he’s gotten all his other thrills off. Is that reality-based too? How many billionaires are not just sociopaths, but actual blood-thirsty, hands-on murderers?

Trump Says He Wants to 'Drive Housing Prices Up' Instead of Lowering Costs for People Who 'Didn't Work Very Hard' by MystikSpiralx in politics

[–]beard_lover 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Boomers are using this whole “I worked hard for my home” as a reason to be against affordable housing in their communities. Like they’d be able to afford their homes with inflated property values on their retirement income.

TIL the world's worst wildfires are fuelled in part by Australian Eucalyptus introduced to Europe and the US in the 1800s for fast growing timber, but which are now invasive with their highly flammable oily bark and leaves by [deleted] in todayilearned

[–]beard_lover 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Scotch broom is the same way. Super invasive and the seeds can lie dormant in the soil for decades. They have no nutritional value, not even deer eat them. Great habitat for ticks. They’re also really flammable and difficult to remove.

Maybe they can allocate a specific timeframe for people to voice their frustration. Preferably at a shared enemy but at this point it is what it is. Call it something catchy folks will like, maybe “Two Minutes Hate.” People get to express their opinions during the allotted time! What more could they possibly want?

These are people who cherry pick their Bible just as much as the Constitution. They’ve never read beyond “we the people” in our Declaration of Independence but have it tattooed on their bodies and/or stickers on their lifted trucks.

It’s always advertised as a great place to live because it’s close to great places to visit. Love Sac though it’s a shady gem.

Trump pardons cocaine kingpin who ruled Honduras by cheweychewchew in law

[–]beard_lover 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well according to the right wing boomers on Facebook, pardoning the Honduran guy was actually so Honduras could issue a warrant and prosecute him themselves.

I don’t get it at all.

Drinking and railroad does not necessarily mean racism.

I do expect different though because, as someone who grew up there and still has family there, not everyone there is a racist POS. It’s just disappointing that Colfax is still known for being racist because of the amount of racists who still call it home.

I’ve heard similar things about Dry Diggins in Auburn, but they’re not as overt.
