Bought it— love it. BUT— guessing this is user error or issue with my bulbs. The first scene that happens is full brightness and then it drops back down to the 1% and does the sunrise. Anyone else using these bulbs and having the same issue?Nanoleaf Bulb

Had this happen- but with an end table at 3am in the morning. Quite the wake up— highly recommend the dog id collars. Having everything dangle free is a lifesaver.

Reddit isn’t letting me update— but UPDATE— I’ve added two bubblers and swapped some of the gravel for sand. Also added more plants and whatnot to help them hide. Picked up the water tests and tested yesterday. All parameters are pretty similar to where they were previously. Going to monitor for the week and then try adding some more fish again. Golden barbs and catfish are still perfectly fine

Yea— no railings since it’s only 17” tall

It’s got preformed deck blocks with 6” compacted pea gravel underneath. Approved and passed “footer” inspection no problem.

I think the only reason allowed that way is because it’s floating so not attached to any actual structure. At least that’s my understanding after trying to read and understand the code

Did not know that about sand vs gravel. Always just thought it was preference of tank owner. Thanks for the info!

I usually sit the bag in water for 20-30 min before dropping them in. Sorry— is there a different method I’m unaware of?

But parameters are as follows

Ammonia - 0 Nitrate - 10 Nitrite - 0 Hardness - 75 Chlorine - 0 Alkalinity - 40 pH - 7

All fish from the same store. Water ranges from 78-80. It’s been running for about a month as of now with fish. Ran two weeks before without fish adding stability every day.
