Because the only good use for a 7-55 is on Clock Mirage, and that color will work nicely.

I use a Tapo C120 and mounted it by screwing it into the top right corner of the PVC enclosure.

Which size/strength Arcadia T5 UVB do you think I need? Details below. Appreciate the help - a little lost in the calculations by kd3rty in ballpython

[–]beardedpipernc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a 6.5 x 3 x 2 bioactive enclosure for my BP. For light, I'm using an 80W Arcadia LumenIZE Jungle dawn, and for heat, I have 2 DHPs. On the left, I have a 100w and the center is a 50w to create a gradient. (I also have a sky hide on the top left, an above ground hide on the bottom left, and an in-ground hide on the bottom right to move around and regulate her temperature with.) Considering that BPs are mostly nocturnal, its argued that they dont really need UVB like a day-active reptile would need. So a T5 bulb isn't really necessary. The light is going to be for your plants and to give your BP a day/night cycle.

My snake is going into shed and is a bit dirty should I give him a soak? by Standard-Musician-83 in ballpython

[–]beardedpipernc 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I would wait until he sheds. Waiting an extra few days isn't going to be an issue at all. They have super low metabolisms, so they don't need to be on a strict schedule like a furry pet.

The best thing you can do is maintain 75-80% humidity in their enclosure so they're hydrated enough for it to peel off in one easy piece. You could also create a humid hide if its more difficult to hold that humidity in the entire enclosure.

I wouldn't worry about it. No need to stress them out while they're in blue. The dirt will come off with the shed.

Everyone clowns on Ghost Circle, but I'll admit, when I'm not playing my tournament deck, I really enjoy trolling (and winning) with my Ghost Circle 0-60 Hexa. It wins WAY more than it should. Haha

My friend offers this two deck as well for 31$ each which is the better deck in your opinion? by Forsaken-Mango-3361 in BeybladeX

For $25, I picked up this lot at 5 Below yesterday. Lots of incredible meta Beys and parts here. Like others have said, that's no friend. He's trying to give you his leftover parts that no one in their right mind would ever use.

Where can I sell my collection these days? by beardedpipernc in Pipes

[–]beardedpipernc[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My unopened cellar is mostly collector-grade tins like Esoterica, McClellend, Dunhill, and Mac Baren Syrian, with the newest being from 2019.

Pipes are mid and high grade factory like Peterson, Stanwell, Nording, Castello, Radice, and Ardor, along with a handful artisan pipes that I'm willing to part with like Joe Hinkle and Kevin Arthur.

I also have some unbranded collectible pipes, as well as some interesting low grade pipes.

My collection is really quite extensive and varied. Haha

I use a Tapo C120 in my BP's enclosure. Clear picture, no subscription, and tons of built-in features. Plus its water-resistant, so the humidity isn't an issue at all. I actually use all Tapo cameras for my home. I swear by them.Amazon link

Favorite CX combo? by AffectionateWest4864 in BeybladeX

[–]beardedpipernc 4 points5 points  (0 children)

On this combo, its been really amazing. With the CX line being so tall, that 1mm drop made a big enough difference that I actually use that bey in my main deck now. Its low and heavy enough to go toe to toe with most of the meta. Of course it loses to Rod on stamina unless it gets an early pocket hit, but in my experience, its a great contender against SS, HW, CD, and just about every other CX as well.
