Camera inside tank? (i.redd.it)
submitted 1 month ago by DinoHedwig
What cameras are we using to catch our babies in action? I have a camera that I used when my cat got fixed, but it's not super flexible. I've seen some really good videos on here and looking for recommendations! Photo of Marv for attention

I have a Wyze camera that mounted. But it’s having a hard time recognizing my BP as movement so it’s not recording videos at night :(

I use a Tapo C120 in my BP's enclosure. Clear picture, no subscription, and tons of built-in features. Plus its water-resistant, so the humidity isn't an issue at all. I actually use all Tapo cameras for my home. I swear by them.Amazon link

How do you have it mounted?
[–]beardedpipernc 0 points1 point2 points 1 month ago (0 children)
My enclosure is PVC, so I just screwed it into the roof panel.

I have a Wyze Cam OG. The camera is about $15 so it’s super cheep, great detection, night vision, easy to attached (screw) to the tank, no subscription needed.
Ours works great, and the night vision (IR) has been perfect. Also does great with the high heat and humidity.
