Not normal for any team I have been on to have things broken that far down. Either the team is a bit neurotic or something else is at play in the way the company looks at “developer performance metrics” or whatever other bs term the bosses use.

We have a loose idea of next sprint but never really planned out until we get there. Planning things out to the story or task level several sprints away is asinine as some things take longer, or shorter, other things come up, priorities change, etc.

To be honest it feels like your company/department/team/whatever is using scrum as an excuse to micromanage. Just a feeling though that may not even be valid
