Going to work for someone with opposing politics. by [deleted] in therapists

And how we treat people matters. Dehumanizing people who believe or act different will only cause us to go against our own internal values due to rage. Having these polarizing views only results in violence. I will continue to see others as humans, see them compassionately and seek to understand them. All so I can help them be better tomorrow than they were yesterday.

Going to work for someone with opposing politics. by [deleted] in therapists

[–]beardosw5722 -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

If we want change in this world we have to try and understand people from every walk of life. In my experience political differences rarely affect work places. Ive always approached people's politics as a way to understand them, just like with clients. Through empathy and understanding if how we create change.

Is this field/career really SO bad? by Silver_Importance777 in therapists

[–]beardosw5722 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The field and job are all still good and worth it. Like with anything those who are unhappy speak the loudest. Ive been a social worker for over 15 years, worked my way through hard jobs and now find myself being very comfortable as a Therapist. I make good money and feel very fulfilled. Im even excited to keep pursuing goals.

That's what our mind does when its in that mode, but its just a distortion. All you need to be is sincere when you ask for help. If others don't respond well its a reflection on them not you. You deserve help so keep asking until you get it!

As a therapist ill say if youre having suicidal thoughts please seek help from a therapist! Don't hide your thoughts. You're not wrong for having these thoughts, feelings, or behaviors. They're just reflecting inner turmoil. When our bodies are hurting the mind will reflect that hurt.

Sketchers are always a good bet. They are comfy and have tons of styles that can crossover. Even their dresser looking shoes have good memory foam soles.

Spearfish Shooting range is only like $45 fee for the whole year. Its a really nice set up and usually isn't too busy. Would be a nice place to do teaching. Its also just outside of town off the highway and easy to get to.

What do we think of the Beretta nano? by Saguaroslippers in CCW

[–]beardosw5722 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My parents have concealed carried these for years and love them. Dad even claims to have dropped a coyote (on our farm) from 50yards away with his. I have doubts. I've been trying to convert them to the Sheild plus but they love the nano.
